This is the result of Gal and I messing around and seeing what we could make if we were okay with using the little exploits, particularly a roofing exploit. The whole time we kept calling the cheese base because we were using cheesy tactics and it just kinda stuck...
So, I give you all, THE CHEESE BASE!
It's a hell of a lot of booms if someone tries to door raid this thing. There's cheaper options however there's no escaping having to spend a lot of booms when it comes to this design.
Also one of my dogs decided he wanted be included in the video while I was recording my audio so everyone, meet Fang! lol

Great base, you need more subs. It's one of the few that are tough enough, but don't require astronomical materials/upkeep.

Thanks! I don't usually like doing the dodgy stuff like the roofing but damn it helps keep the costs down... Also I've used it live twice now, both times raiders tried to offline it they failed to get to the booms, good kits or tc. :)

I have built some bases with automated trap devices so if they step the wrong way doors open and a ton of shot gun traps go wild.

That's fair enough. On more competitive servers I'd personally be going with something that's got some online defense. I've been spending a lot of time on a monthly server so most of the raids I've been seeing are offlines.

@@Malonik I play on rustopia and a base like this would get munched in 3 min in and out. No one goes through doors. Edit: Got onlined 4 times this week btw
