One thing many of you don’t know is that I got my pet named “Penji” (basin and chicken) because my maternal grandma visited our home with several chickens and a basin when I was born. The chickens were for my mom to nourish her body and the basin was for me to have a bath in. Born into a common rural family in a far-flung area, I’ve always been proud of having a happy, loving family. Ever since my birth, grandpa and grandma, maternal grandpa and grandma, and dad and mom have been loving me in every way they can, which is my lifetime treasure.
My maternal grandma was an ingenious old lady. Whenever we visited her, she’d make us all kinds of sugary food using different methods. Maltose used to be my maternal grandma’s unique recipe. She’d make maltose for us every year. She passed away three months ago. My mom said: “Your maternal grandma is gone, but we’re gonna live on and try not to make life miserable.”

if you’ve been following her for years then you wouldn’t say something shitty like this. she started making videos on her own and did all the editings by herself. but as she progress and gain many subscribers she hired photographers and other team mates that work closely with her. so every idea, every work and story she has done, she did it by herself. It is original not some random guy filmed her like you said it was. Do a F’in reasearch before spewing nonsense to this lady who clearly trying to cope with a loss of a family member. damn grow up??

The day you uploaded this video is the day I decided to watch all of your videos from starting, and today I finally watched this video only to realize that maternal grandmother is somewhere faraway- heaven. They was a beautiful tribute to your Grandmother. May she rest in peace. And it reminded me of my Grandma teaching me how to make Pitzels which is a Traditional Italian Waffle Cookie (half Italia). I just lost my grandmother at the age of 83 on December last year. She died on 26th, 2nd day of Christmas. I missed her so much and watching this made me missed her even more. May your maternal grandmother rest in peace Apenjie. She must be so proud of you.. 🌹

I also lost my maternal grandmother in early 2021 and during the end of this video I just found myself crying because it reminded me of my grandma and how she also taught me a lot about cooking. I had to take a few minutes to just reminisce and cry because I miss her so much. It truly is a very special thing, being loved so selflessly by our grandmothers, so we need to honor them by passing on what they taught us and make sure they are never forgotten because they will forever live on in our hearts. Thank you for this beautiful video, I have been a fan for several years now but this is automatically my favorite video of yours from now on.

You're right, that was unique. Cannot believe you extracted Maltose (a sugar) from grains yourself, and then pulled it and made taffy. That is just fantastic, well done! I did not realize this was a tribute to a loved one. I'm sorry for your loss. You can tell she was loved in your videos.

As a person that was raised by ny grandparents, this one really touched home. This is a beautiful tribute to your Maternal Grandmother, thank you for sharing her with us. My grandmother's words to me before leaving the island after high school. Son, when I'm gone from this world and light rain finds you, those are my tears of Joy for the time we had together.
