Memories of my youth, still a fan, seen them many a time, brilliant band and lovely people!

These guys deserved major stardom. Its a tragic tale.

Wonderful band and amazing guys. Loved going to see them in Ballybunion when I was a teenager. They always were willing to chat to people afterwards and were friendly and down to earth. Never missed a chance to see and enjoy them.

Fantastic,they were fantastic.I saw them in 84 opening for Scorpions in Metz (France) and 85 back in my town.I still like Heavy Metal

saw them 7 times in total and I'd see them 7 more if I could..

I found the song "Letting Go" of a Hard and Heavy K-Tel album back in 84 and have dug these guys ever since. I saw them open for Judas Priest at The Summet in 85 and it was a killer show.

Loved the band at the Tivoli in north Wales, come back guys

Seen the boys in dalymount back in the 80s and they blew all acts off the stage that day remember in America they were pitted against quiet riot with the slade song mama were all crazee now and also blew them have all their albums singles and a bootleg tape from the sfx concert in Dublin thanks Radio Nova and Dave fanning from rte2fm these boys seriously rocked every stage they performed on and I remember the scorpions tour they were the support band for and seeing a article from the scorpions shotting themselves on how to follow the boys act . I grew up listening to them seen them many many times live no disrespect to lizzy or moore / horseslips / skidrow / the brush in my view best band to come out of the island of Eire . Met them all in golden discs in the ilac centre in dublin and still have all the albums singles they signed for me along with t shirts ( alas they dont fit me anymore 😀as well the denim jacket with patches and studs and the belt for the jeans in my eyes Legends

power & passion , plug it in , brings me right back to my school days. There was only two bands we were crazy about Lizzy & Mamas Boys....Such talent , great rock sound , great albums , Would love to see gthem come back.

They played in Bagnalstown, Co Carlow (early '80's (what year date?) and there was a power cut! Any info or anyone remember this? The only time I got to see them unfortunately.

Saw them supporting Thin Lizzy and @ the SFX Dublin.
