I still can't believe they never broke through. I thought they were gonna be huge!! This was how you judged a Metal fan, whether they knew of Mamas Boys. Still is!!
@AngelofAnguish4 жыл бұрын
Believe it or not, I got word about Mama's Boys on a late night/early morning T.V. show, which aired Fridays and Saturdays, in the '80s, called "Night Flight."

I can't believe they didn't become massive either. Saw them many times in the 80's, once supporting Thin Lizzy!. Have followed them since Official Bootleg. Spoke to Pat a couple of times - very unassuming, really nice guy and very talented.

Back in the days when bands were real. They wrote their own songs and could actually play them live. Miss those days.

I have their LPs: Plug It In, Mama's Boys, and Power And Passion, and Growing Up The Hard Way on CD. Sad that Tommy passed away in 1994. Great bluesy hard rock!

Didn't get to this one, but did see them at when they opened for The Scorpions and Thin Lizzy and at Knebworth.

Hi, I'd be grateful if anyone can help. I am hoping to find out who originally filmed this footage or what channel was it broadcast on? Louise :)
@michaelh53345 жыл бұрын
@Louise Malone Greeting from Japan. this show was "Super Rock '85 in Japan" held at O daiba, Tokyo. Filmed by Nihon TV and broadcast in a charity program, "24 hours television". Video package was issued by "Toei Video". In Tokyo, there is a heavy metal bar, where you can watch the video according to your request.
