This is kind of incorrect, but you've got it mostly right. I'll just add a bit more context. Isshin's powers did remain sealed after Ichigo became a Shinigami for the first time, as he was still powerless during Grand Fisher's attack on the family during their visit to Masaki's grave. It was only after Ichigo's Bankai training, and his subsequent battle with Byakuya where the Hollow within Zangetsu began to break free that the seal binding Isshin to it was finally broken. As far as Urahara's explanation goes though, it was pure conjecture. He was just assuming that the Hollow would pass on in perpetuity in living descendants, and likely didn't even consider the possibility that Isshin would father Masaki's children himself; which is how Ichigo inherited those powers. And because Ichigo was born with the innate potential to become a Shinigami, the Hollow itself became part of that power. Otherwise, he would have just been born a Quincy with the powers of a Fullbringer. So the unique circumstances of Ichigo's birth essentially guaranteed that White would become an inseparable part of Ichigo, rather than becoming a curse that would bind Isshin Kurosaki's soul to the Kurosaki's for all eternity.

@@bluemoon1716 I don't think so but they are definitely supernatural beings like spirits are and even if they are, Soul Reapers and Hollows are spirits too but they are categorized differently. In any case, there are definitely more than four elements in the Bleach-verse.

People who are more focused on "Purity of Bloodline" or "Purebred" stuff, are usually connected to each other in some way. And considering the whole Echt & Gemischt Quincy stuff, i wouldn't be surprised if Ryuken and Masaki are actually distantly related cousins (even now, marriage/relation between distantly related cousins in asian countries like Japan isn't that odd).
