This was my first roller-coaster ever. It's pretty fun but if you've never ridden one the first hill is hell.

I love when you're going up you can see the whole city

I’ve ridden this many times. All the fear lies in the initial climb. That climb feels like eternity. That first hill feels like you’re gonna fall out of your seat, it’s steep as hell.

This was the coaster that helped me get 100% over my fear of coasters I haven’t been back in over 5 years but this coaster has a special place in my heart

The first drop is a lot bigger in real life

When I went on this, a girl in front of me had her hair in a ponytail, and I kept on getting whipped by it in the face.

My cousins came to visit me in NC, and this was the biggest roller coaster they've been on. We threw them right on Fury 325 lol

I've rode on this coaster at least 50 times since it opened, it's still fun every time. It was also the first roller coaster my daughter ever rode on when she was 10 and barely above the height requirement, she fell in love with coasters and thrill rides from that very moment. I love the camel humps near the end of the ride, they give you the feeling of weightlessness.

I laugh Everytime the operator makes that fake hissing sound

This ride is crazy good. I never notice how big of a people per hour it has

I'm in the Metro Kansas City area. Actually moving from Overland Park, Kansas, to Olathe, Kansas. In my younger years, I rode the Zambeeze Zinger(spelling?) Which was my very first ride on an adult roller coaster. First seat, first car. Went another time. Then came the Orient Express. Did it once. This all in my mid 20's.(1976) Due to brain surgery, and a heart attack, I can't do any of these rides. I miss them. I will say, The Mamba, looks tame, compared to newer coasters. Have fun and be safe!

lol i come here alot and one ime the ride operator said befoe we left "welcome to the mamba, were like the boomerang except our ride actually works" and everyone was like "OHHHH"

This ride scared the hell outta me.

Oh I remember operating this coaster and having to do a catwalk on it. Braving heights of 205 feet high and winds shifting northeast at 10 mph is scary... as long as u don't look down lol. I remember having to guide a supervisor who was afraid of heights that day lol

This once was one of world tallest, world longes, and world fastest hyper coaster. Today it’s currently 7th rank in the world.

I love the Mamba, but the Patriot is my absolute favorite. I could ride it a hundred times and not get tired of it

Mamba was pretty funny. The first hill looks a LOT bigger in person then in the video. But I Honestly would take a wood coaster over a steel one anyday. The sound sounds a lot fiercer then steel ones.

Fun coaster, I remember waiting for ever to ride the first year it was open. It was so hot people were passing out in line, I think we waited 2 hours the first time I road it.

For some reason I cried before I even got on the Mamba, when we were moving up the hill, I was screaming and crying, than I screamed SUPER loud when we were about to go down, and than I went down and all the sudden I was screaming and yelling Woo Hoo, and rode it 2 more times

Going down the big hill is fun. The little hills are the worst actually.

the scariest part is that you only get a bar, not a restraint, a tiny bar, that’s why i’m too scared to go on this ride cause i’m afraid it’s not gonna be able to hold me in lol.

I went with my friend to my first ever trip to wof. I rode the mamba ( after lots of persuasion ). I am not proud to admit that I hugged the Seat restraint on the first two hills.

Man I rode this ride for the first time not long ago and just watching the video still gives me a large amount of anxiety

I love this ride

The only negative thing about this ride is the ridiculous lines. If you dont have a money scamming fast pass, you are to expect a 3 hour wait just for one ride. Thank god there are timed rides on the mamba now, but back then it was awful. If you wanted to be one of the first people on this ride, you would have to immediately run to it when the park first opens. Other than that this is an amazing ride. Unfortunately it wasnt my first rollar coaster, as I went on the prowler first, but its still amazing.

When I went to Worlds of Fun last Halloween me and my friend went there. Her parents had bought us both tickets and fast lanes and then my friend didn’t even go on any of the rides with me. I feel like my friends’ family is sometimes mine I call her parents uncle and aunt so when her parents had to go on the rides with me I was fine with it. I went on the Mamba with my friends’ mom and went on the Patriot by myself but sat with three really nice guys. I also went on the Boomerang with these teens and I was only 10 and they were telling me how cool and epic I was. The guy I rode with also put me on his Snapchat but they all were very nice. I went on the Prowler as well and let me warn you do not go on it unless you want to hit your head profusely on the cart and I had to go on that ride alone as well nobody decided to sit with me either so I just was kinda getting found from side to side. If I had to pick favorites the Patriot is definitely my favorite as well as the Mamba! I love all of them and If you are visiting Kansas you need to go to Worlds of Fun it is awesome!

The back seat gives you a better ride ... More speed for sure ... I worked there for 3 years during the late seventies ... And my oldest daughter sometimes gets us gold passes so we spend a lot of days just riding roller coasters together ..

I love the mamba along with a lot more rides but the mamba is so fun and fast never regret it

Just went on this coaster yesterday with a couple of my friends and all I have to tell you is that to tightly hang on to the bar when you get to the part where it goes up and down continuously. That almost made me kind of pass out.

Imagine being stuck on the fast steep part.

Front seat, you want to be in the back for whiplash.
