This roller coaster is so intense. It surprises me that it’s only 51 mph. It felt like around 70.

fun fact: this roller coaster seems to be faster than normal and it DOES feel like it, but it’s actually not faster than any normal coaster. the layout of the coaster and the twists and turns simulate that the coaster is going faster than it really is. Another fun fact: this was my first real roller coaster ever! i love the Prowler!

Yes that is true. I rode this yesterday, and it felt like it was around 65 mph (which is faster than the Timberwolf). It does make sense that all the twists and turns are the main reason for that.

When I went on vacation to St Louis a couple years back, we went here. I can attest that this ride is legitimately the best one there. Super smooth with couch-like seats. Definitely one you don't want to miss.

This ride won the golden ticket for the best new ride in 2009. There's a ride called Diamondback that went to kings island in 2009 also.

Still my favorite non-RMC woodie! I rode it in 2011, and finally again a couple weeks ago. No denying that it's not a smooth ride, but I think the little bit of roughness adds to the coaster and makes it better than Mystic Timbers. Both are basically equal in duration (counting only the high speed parts) & airtime moments, but Prowler's airtime was far stronger & more fun.

Awesome ride but broke down on us today at the 1:42 mark of the video and maintenance couldn't get it up and running, so we had to walk back into the station LOL. Definitely hope they have it ready to go tomorrow when I return! Hooked on GCI's now after being at KI all weekend a couple of weeks ago and going on Mystic Timbers repeatedly.

I love it for it's jerking feeling and Everytime I ride it I always think " how the hell does this stay of a strip of metal and wood without flying off. Currently this is my favorite and my second favorite is the mamba.

It has up-stock weels that go under the small overhand of wood on the track, if you pause the video you can see where they go onto, these prevent the ride from coming up off the track when it goes over the hill due to them hitting the overhang and bringing it back down.

+Maximus MC I've been on both coasters and I consider Prowler to be the better ride. It is at my home park, however I still believed Prowler was the better ride. Keep in mind it beat other coasters like Manta and iSpeed. Pretty cool if you asked me.

Probably because Kansas City isn't that well known. This is a very fun coaster! If you ever come here, ride it... Just remember the pain relievers for afterwards. It's not super rough, but it can get your if you sit in the right seat...

I think it's the fact that they're taken from a handheld camera instead of a mounted camera. Gives it a more natural, raw feel.

It's a type of Panter and also the ride is surrounded by trees and ALSO at Worlds of Fun everything is based off of things around the world and this ride just so happens to be in the African area.

It's made by the same company and they have a rather specific style of coaster that they've been making recently. Their name is GCI if you want to look into other coasters like Mystic Timbers and this.

Amusement Films I think it was rougher last year. The ride is smooth in the back seat and is running very fast. It definitely the best coaster at WoF I don’t know how you think it’s running bad
