Mamlambo Fossils

Mamlambo Fossils

As I drove to the fossil location, the rain started getting pretty heavy and some parts of State Highway 1 were flooded. Luckily the beach was quite sheltered but I made sure to stay away from the cliffs as they get very unstable once they are saturated like this.

0:41 dry them well before storage and shove a pack of reusable desiccant for good measure. Both of the big finds are amazing, bummer you weren't there for the crab to get the other claw as well, but still, it's a stunning specimen. Super curious about the jaw. The other bone parts kinds threw me around, before you showed the picture. Nice hunt!

Very cool. At this point in the video kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jZ-Hmqhk3NXDhYE.html to the left of the bone concretion is a tear drop concretion. Turtle skull like in shape with a dark spot on the back. Just because it looks skull like (I've seen similar shaped skull concretions where the 'nose' pokes out and creates a tear drop look) and I'm always looking for the fossil beside the fossil in your videos! I'd have probably hit the tip off just to see if anything inside.
