May not be scientific, but it was an effective way to show how much the muzzle break works. Good job. You took something that can be complicated, and put it in layman's terms.

Excellent! Love the 'layman's' approach to a non-scientific experiment.

I bought a T/C Compass II in 6.5 creedmoor from Ky Gun Co, and based on this video, bought this muzzle brake also. I am absolutely amazed in how light the recoil is. About the same, maybe even less than my AR 15 IN 5.56. Great product!

Great demo. I could uderstand it and do it at home. I hope to put one on the 300win-mag someday and get a little ease of felt recoil.

I watched this without volume. The "sort of scientific" method used makes it easy to understand what would be hitting your shoulder. I would love to see the Mammoth Arms compared against some expensive brakes, as well as a few random "eBay cheapos" as a comparison. I'm guessing an additional $100 may only save another half inch of shoulder impact.

@Kentucky Gun Co Pretty nice. I would like to see a video demonstrating whether or not adding the muzzle break alters the point of impact at 100 yards. Do a 5 shot group at 100 yards. Add the muzzle break and shoot another 5 shot group and compare the results. Also, what is the material of the muzzle break? Thanks

Why in the world would you be testing a muzzle brake with a 6.5 creedmoor it doesn't have any recoil to start with use at least a 300 Winchester mag
@50-110nut2 жыл бұрын
No recoil to start with this is ridiculous a least use a 308

You lost my respect at 6.5 Creedmoor. The 264 mag was always considered marginal for elk and bigger game, yet the creedmoor will kill elk and elephants out to 7 miles without even aiming.

Kind of odd you’d put a muzzle brake on a caliber with hardly any recoil to start. Lastly, trying to make a $25 dollar piece of metal sound good for $74 by saying the average cost is $150 to $200 was hilarious. There’s nothing scientific or original about drilling holes in a pipe like a candy cane so stop acting like y’all reinvented the wheel, lmao. This design and quality level can be bought for $25 to $35 bucks online all day long. Nice try though.

Why in the hell did you choose a 6.5 Creed mower it does not have any kick to start with that is not much of a test for a muzzle brake you need to test at least a 300 Winchester magnum act like you got a little sense when you do something

That is not a very good test using a damn puny ass 6.5 creedmoor why would anybody want to put a motor brake on one to start with it is considered a gun that even a small woman can use comfortably y'all are making a fool out of yourself somebody at Thompson center should know better
