I love the TIMING on this. As much as I always loved VH music - I'm a massive prog rock fan too. This gives me the "unexpected" that I always like between notes in ELP, King Crimson, and Yes... but CONCISE the way I love a lot of VH and 80s rock radio. I recall hearing that this was extremely important to him because he hates when songs are recorded in the studio that cannot be entirely reproduced live with actual musicians. He wants to do justice to the songs he worked so hard on, and not give a watered-down performance. I wish more musicians thought this way. I have always hated when a band has one guitar player and creates a song with guitar harmonies or solos over rhythm guitars; the live performance is always a letdown.

I wish these dudes would just bring me the music. Play it live . No need for the big lights or bombs, fireworks. Just bring the music. I don't know. When I buy a new CD. And play it on my headphones. I don't see all the fireworks bombs and all the other bs they bring to the live show. Just the music.

Completely different circumstances. Sabbath were fried , drugged out, internal strife etc. Wish it were original lineup but Guns is older ,wiser, lean and mean once again. If it were 1993 you would have a case. Not to mention musical differences. When VH came out Ed took the world by storm with something fresh and new with Dave by his side adding more color. Wolf's stuff is good compared to mainstream past 25 yrs but he's not exactly rewriting the book.

The other kid on guitar works for Slash (conspirators)! There is more connections than just a opening act
