The Festival of the Holidays is back -- featuring holiday kitchens, ride overlays, celebrity narrators, and speciality entertainment! Molly and Alan are headed to the park to check out the festival. They're stopping at EVERY food booth (and sticking to a budget!), eating around the cookie stroll, riding the seasonal overlay at Journey into Imagination Starring Figment, and beyond! I’m so serious when I say that I appreciate the mess out of Alan’s genuine effort to pronounce things accurately. Certain other channels routinely butcher very simple pronunciations (if I hear “mojo pork” pronounced a la Mojo Jojo one more time I’m gonna scream) and not only is it embarrassing for them, it undermines their supposed “expertise” and is kinda disrespectful to the cultures they’re discussing, tbh. Alan does his best (which is already very good) and isn’t afraid to be corrected and learn. We stan a considerate peachy king!

couldnt agree more. as a French speaker, hearing Molly and Alan try their hardest to pronounce things makes my heart warm, and you completely forget about any mistakes. love them🫶🏼

I noticed that too! I didn't realize how refreshing it was till I heard him pronouncing the dishes from Las Posadas. I think people can be nervous to correctly pronounce things because they don't want to appear like they're making fun of it by over pronouncing, but it's really nice to hear a familiar accent. Definitely noticed and appreciated Mammoth Club!!

So, I have a request. So many times, Alan's reaction to eating around Disney is sort of like mine - 'I wonder if I could make this at home?' Could Alan do a cooking video, where he duplicates some of your favorite recipes from the parks or resorts? Especially if you've adapted the actual recipes for the home cook? PS we love ❤❤❤ your videos!

With Molly's mom in attendance we're going to need a Soarin' count since we know it's her favorite ride. Glad she's getting the old school (and better )version. The Lion 🦁 Dance was cute-gonna have to catch that when we go. I don't think we've ever made it through a Festival yet without at least 1 Trashcan Table Time Reprise. 🎶 Holiday edition 🎶 🤣Words to live by, Molly. It's no cheese stroll. We were at WDW last week, but we sadly had to leave the same day this festival opened… it was fun to experience it through your eyes. Oh - and while we were there, our whole family sang the trash can table time song multiple times. 😆

As someone who took Spanish in school for about 6 years, I never know whether to pronounce Mexican food with an American accent or my sad high school/college Spanish accent? I feel you, Alan (aka: Giada)!

Molly, I just wanted to say that I really appreciate you shouting out all of the Chanukah merch in another recent video as well as highlighting the Chanukah story teller in this video. What's been going on in the world atm has effected me a lot on a personal level and in addition, I live in NYC where there's been an huge rise in antisemitism lately. You shouting out Chanukah in what seems to be a little louder this year than the previous mean so much to me and really makes me feel good. Thank you so much for all that you do

I did the Cookie Stroll last night. I couldn't eat all the cookies but if you go to the Odyssey they will give you a to-go box. I bought a reusable bag for less than $2 to carry them home

This may be weird and/or too much for some people, but I started to bring a few ziplock baggies with me for the cookie stroll a few years ago 🙃 I live in FL though, so putting a few baggies in our bag isn't a big deal... plus we love being able to go back to the cookies and eat more when we want 😅😊

My husband and I took our daughter to Disney last year and even though he was, um, not enthused about it, he still talks about how good those latkes (with the salmon) were. Definitely a best of the fest for us.

The gentleman that worked next to me in the Dessert Station for Iron Chef Morimoto's 12 Beer of Christmas Event we did on Sunday, was from Ivanhoe Brewing Company. Great guy. As a Cape Bretoner (part of Nova Scotia Canada), we have the BEST Turkey Stuffing Poutine ... it's shoestring French fries, covered in shredded mozzarella, a bread stuffing, then turkey, and topped with the most amazing chicken/turkey gravy!!!

Another good one ya'll. Love Alan's taste descriptions, very concise. I will be there next week but will probably agree with Molly, can't go wrong with a big ole bowl of cheese and bread. I'll skip the cookie scroll and just buy a one or two cookies since the completer shake would just make me sad. Like Alan, I love peppermint. I think I'll go down to Chick-Fil-A tonight and get me a peppermint shake.
