Man accused of hiding bodies of Savanah Soto, Matthew Guerra appears in court for bond hearing

Ramon Preciado, 53, appeared in court on Monday for his bond reduction hearing. Preciado is charged with abuse of a corpse, alter/destroy/conceal human corpse. Preciado allegedly helped his son, Christopher Preciado, hide the dead bodies of Matthew Guerra and Savanah Soto. Soto and Guerra were expecting a child at the time of their deaths.

This family helped clean our streets from drug dealers and everyone is in their feelings about this ….. imagine if that couple came to deliver drugs to your loved one and they passed , would people care if she was pregnant and say don’t give her a bond? My dad's got a spinal cord injury but if I needed him n I did something this awful he's help you sound like you no nothing about heath condition an what n how the effect different people. It was extremely hard to watch him try to play victim, not only for himself but for his wife and son. They deserve everything they get while they are in there. He didn’t care that that beautiful young lady was pregnant, he didn’t care about that sweet little baby she was carrying and she didn’t care about the father of that baby. So, for him to even get on the stand and ask for a reduced bond or no bond to get out and live his life like normal is beyond me. I hope he suffers every single minute in jail.

I think the prosecution is trying to find out thru questions, if he can make bail if the judge lowers his bail. Prosecution doesn't want them to make bail but some of questions can also lead to motive for the crime; they were broke and desperate to make mortgage.

I mean, there’s a lot of fathers in America right now, they would do the exact same thing that he did; and that is basically at its route, help his son try and get out of a major jam. I’m not saying that what he did was right, absolutely not. He shouldn’t have done it, and he’s paying for that right now, but, in the Mexican, American tradition, family is always the most important thing in your life, and many Mexican American fathers would’ve done the exact same thing for their son. Family is the cornerstone of what many of us are here for and it’s just what it is. Hopefully they find a way to give him a sentence that reflects he pretty much was just trying to help a very confused son, who had just made the worst mistake of his life. The people that are in a rage about him possibly getting away with something need not be, he’s not going to get away with anything. His life is effectively over until all of this is sorted out. He likely will go to prison for a short amount of time, but he will probably see the light of day again. His son on the other hand is up a much shittier creek. As well, he should be.
