Info for 2nd clip: "Event occurred following stop at King Soopers on 136th Ave and Quebec St. Point of contact in video was at the turn in to Lifeline Puppy Rescue 15171 Riverdale Rd, Brighton, CO 80602. There was no previous contact before this video with driver in the white 1999 Ford 150 Colorado License Plate SOG 575. (1999 Ford F-150 Base V8 - 4.6L). Male approximately 25 and possibly Hispanic exited truck approached with what appears to be a knife and threatened to cut other driver with the knife. The aggressor fled the scene after the threated driver warned aggressor of dashcam and 911 call in progress. "

It’s not because of him not going fast enough it’s because he just randomly decides that he doesn’t like someone coming up by his car. He was more than a car length the way before the driver brake checked him and then he went around. I would’ve done the same thing. If you don’t want the smoke, then don’t give that energy.

5:30 #13 Yup. The only one you can control is yourself. Right of way already violated, so have a choice. Accident and other driver gets punished, or avoid and go on with your day. Personally, I prefer to be inconvenienced for one second vs a whole insurance process and being out a vehicle. If they drive like that on the norm, will face repercussions some day without you needing to inconvenience yourself. Sides. If they are uninsured or broke, then wont matter anyways if you were in the right of way.

In that case, I'd rather go for a fender bender than hit the brakes and hope for the best should someone right behind doesn't rear end me.

I would not recommend leaving your vehicle to confront an unknown person. Having been licensed for 56 years there have always been left-lane hogs and impaired drivers however; it seems to me there are more angry, distracted, impaired drivers today? I never leave home without my Go Pro in what I'm driving. When I park it's at the back of the lot installing the "club" and have agreed value on two of my 3 vehicles...

@@frankdepina5967 That MAY, on a state-by-state basis, depend on whether ped had a walk light in the crosswalk or was crossing with a do-not-walk, in which case ped is jaywalking and right of way may not have been his. Since the cammer had greens it's highly probably ped had the do-not-walk light. Traffic control devices do exist for peds as well as vehicles, after all.

#15- This looks like Rt30east. Just after the coatsville entrance (Rt82). Coastsville has a very short ramp, hidden by a sharp curve. If you move over for cars to come on, they speed up and don’t let you back over. If you’re stuck in the right lane, they’ll cut you off or tailgate extremely close. I’d bet the idiot in the Cherokee came from coatsville. Jeep Cherokee, on top ten worst drivers list. So is U-haul.

#13 / 5:29 - To his defense, I would say that I'm a good driver (I do my mistake, but I never panick, I put my flasher and I'm polite) and it has happen to me once that a guy litterally turn into my face when the light turned green (he was in the opposite direction turning left) and I got so stun about that, that I almost T-Bone him because of the surprise. When you don't expect somebody to do something, sometime the brain just doesn't want to process and assess the information!

To anyone who has a dashcam, it's really stupid not to put the audio on. Because audio can also be used as evidence in court. Imagine that a driver threatens to kill you. Don't forget to put the date and time, and also your speed. Its very important. !

Some cameras have the mic toggle button in a bad place so it's easy to hit by accident, and there's no obvious indication that the mic has been disabled. It was that way on a couple of mine. 🤷‍♂️

@@bobroch1107 other than button placement, both cameras I was talking about (viofo a118, a119) were high quality at the time I got them. Not the most expensive but also not bargain basement. I "fixed" them by putting a small rubber bumper (like for a drawer) on the emergency lock button so that I wouldn't accidentally hit the mic button at the same time. Thought about putting glue on the mic button, but then I wouldn't be able to navigate the menus and settings.

What happened to being a defensive driver. Example.. the clip with the car backing out. I could see far enough ahead in the clip that the driver started pulling out. Why not just slow down to allow them out? Is it really that hard to give another driver a few seconds to safely pull out? Act on this thought, imagine your lived in that place and you've been waiting for traffic to clear. Your kids sick in the back seat and you need to get him to the doctor. How kind would it be to see what's ahead and adjust.. Maybe I just think about others instead of being selfish.

@kenbrown2808 to that thought then.. and believe me, I'm a consummate "backed in" driver. I couldn't imagine attempting to back into that driveway. Busy roads are awful in the burbs. But it doesn't mean we should neglect being "heads up"drivers. I think about being on a mountain the uphill skier or snowboarder needs to watch for the downhill ones to avoid injury. Should it be the same?

As my city expanded many streets that were once back country roads got expanded from 2 lanes to 5 and they wiped out peoples front yards on both sides of the old road to put in the new roads. Looks just like that area with short driveways that back onto a main road.

To the many people with obvious anger management issues, not realizing that they are being recorded ... or not caring. Employment isn't a guaranteed right in this country. You would be representing your employer. If you get this worked up after having caused the situation in which you were honked at, don't be surprised if you will either be forever in a dead-end job, or be continuously let go for cause. Look in the mirror, and stop blaming others. You would not last 10 minutes in my company.

Clip 4 @ 1:29 Why did he honk in the first place, though? They were there first, came to a complete stop, used a signal, safely & fairly turned into the street, plus it cost you essentially no loss of time whatsoever, but he honked saying THEY are the idiots who "had their feelings hurt? Why honk in the first place if not just to start something that didn't need it? Then he's surprised they *also* responded with rage? My guy, *maybe he learned it from drivers like you who encourage the same response* then act surprised in spite of it. "It was just a honk" after also flipping him off... Can't make this stuff up. Both drivers were bad examples in this clip, but *it's certainly a good lesson.* 🤷🤷‍♂🤷‍♀
