At least those "old big clubs" were self-financing. They were successful because they were well-run within their financial constraints. Manchester City were an "old big club" with massive support. They didn't need billionaire backers. They just won the lottery. Clubs should be successful through hard work and good organisation and not pure good fortune.

It's not the players fault its the fault of the hierarchy in the club the players did nothing wrong they play great football which is what they are paid to do so trophies aren't stolen as you have put it you are obviously a fan of one of the whinging red clubs who are not good enough to win a trophy playing football you want trophies by default it's the hierarchy in the club that need to be punished not the players 😊

If found guilty of all their misdemeanors, then they should have the same treatment as Rangers had in Scotland. *_Send them down to the 3rd Division and FINE them heavily._* They've won the Premier League, 5 times out of the last 6 years. *So those 5 titles should have gone to teams in 2nd place who have not cheated.*

If season after season my club earns more and can spend more(through being successful on the field since I have far better players), how can anyone ever catch up? For example if Liverpool generates way more money than Burnley, according to FFP, they can spend way more. This means Liverpool will be able to afford far better players compared to Burnley. This means since Liverpool has way better players than Burnley, Burnley won't be able to compete with Liverpool on the field. This means since Liverpool still succeeded than Burnley on the field, they will make more money that season. This means since they make more money, they will still be able to buy far better players than what Burnley can buy in the next season (according to FFP). So you see, the cycle continues year after year forever. The big teams remains big and the small teams remains small. It's like a few guys entering into the room of goodies and shutting the door behind them so others won't be able to enter. The cartels clubs built their teams before the invention if FFP(we all know they would have been guilty of FFP if FFP existed from the inception of football) and after they have built their teams, they made the ffp so others won't be able to do so.

@@potjhm1 oh! I didn't know that's why the Ffp was initiated. I thought the ffp was initiated for sustainability to "help" teams from spending more than they earn so they won't become bankrupt. I didn't know there is fishy hidden agenda of preventing club owners of smaller teams from spending into the clubs they own so they won't be able to disrupt the eternal reign of the cartels(the big clubs).

The cartels clubs built their teams before the invention if FFP(we all know they would have been guilty of FFP if FFP existed from the inception of football) and after they have built their teams, they made the ffp so others won't be able to do so.

It's self-evident Manchester City are guilty of several and severe breaching the FFP, incorporating PSR. The 115 charges surely have good grounds to have been put forward. It's very likely they all can be proven, but if only half of them, or even only a third of them, can be proven steadfast, so the penalty must of course be the expulsion of Manchester City. If that is not the outcome, the Premier League has lost all it's respectability and credibility as the enforcer of its principles and rules.

ffp rules apply to a clubs revenue taken from match day, tv money, products and the transfer profit only. Sponsorship money can't be used to comply in ffp which is one of the charges the owners of city are up against.

Well the thing is, Gorton AFC were trying to appeal to an up market section of Manchester by changing their name to Ardwick AFC, I understand that they actually wanted the next name change to be to Ancoats AFC (where I come from) but they couldn't meet the social requirements and had to settle eventually with Man City.

They won’t relegate a top team. They will pay a fine and that’s it. Man city will get 46 & 0 against the championship league. It will cause an embarrassment to the English league system. It’s not fair on the players because they age 1 year, 3 years until their next champions league. If man city liquidate, they’ll break even. They won’t do that. They are too smart.

Without knowing the FULL FACTS of the charges I won't comment but everything favours the big teams. Ba ck in the 1960's/70's Man U and lowly Peterborough were both charged with IDENTICAL OFFENCES within 6 months (paying bribes to young kids parents). For their sins Peterborough got relegated while Man U were fined a whopping £3k
