I'm one of those women who don't have any symptoms when having my period, but my goddaughter suffers so much, there are even days when she cannot even bring herself out of the bed. She's 13 and it pains me a lot to watch her like that. I hope more people can understand that not every person has the same reactions to this kind of things. Every body is different and you should all respect it.

I hope your goddaughter is taken to see a gynecologist. I've put up with horrible periods for years until I found out that isn't normal. I'm currently recovering from having a big fibroid surgically removed. Your goddaughter could have endometriosis or something of the sort that causes her so much pain.

I went on the pill when I was 14 because my periods were so painful that I couldn’t stand up and I had to miss school because of them. I was getting in trouble for my attendance because my periods lasted up to 7 days, so I kept missing a lot of school. I know that 13 is a very young age but if she is really suffering please tell her to see a doctor. I’ve been in and out of the doctor this entire week because even though I’m still on the pill I’m having periods that are lasting 11 days. Please get your goddaughter checked, better safe than sorry🥺❤️❤️❤️

Yes! Honestly my period pain varies quite a bit. Sometimes I feel nothing at all, other times I'm cramping up, have headaches and feel nauseus, other times just mild cramps and a little discomfort. I have to say the way people reacted is really understandable because in Chinese culture periods are not taboo like they are in the west. Women are really open about what they deal with and I’ve seen that men are actually incredibly chivalrous and are taught how to take care of their girlfriends. At first I felt kind of uncomfortable with how openly it was discussed but then I realized that was actually just my cultural conditioning. Definitely something to be learned here

I almost cried 😭 Idk why but I get so emotional and sensitive when people help eachother, that's why whenever there's a strike infront of my home I feel like crying, because is thousands of people fighting for something when they probably don't know eachother, love the video!
