It’s not being a victim and a predator at the same time. It’s just part of their narcissistic personality traits the are required to be a predator that makes them stupid enough to be perfect targets for scams like this. It’s almost an essential ingredient to believe when you’re 72 years old you’re going to have nice looking 20 year olds falling at your feet. Most of us have the self-awareness to find it unlikely that this would happen, but for someone like him, he actually thinks he’s something special so of course it must be genuine.

I had an uncle who was the best person through my life. I went places with him and my cousins. Never was out of line nor did we ever think of such a thing growing up. But when he reached 72, he started getting perverted talking about women's rear ends and breasts. I wonder if it is something that happens within the brain because this man was stellar all through life with a great marriage until she passed and he grieved her for so long. Often thought about medication as well since he takes about 7 different kinds everyday. I am not making excuses, just trying to come to some sort of terms for why after so many years.
