@@alextm5669 I think the way they’ll do Martian Manhunter if they ever get to would to give him his special abilities, make his weakness to fire quite big and make him quite a lot off superman in terms of strength, speed and durability. Superman is still in many peoples’ minds the strongest, and they wouldn’t just make a seemingly random comic hero more powerful. It’s a shame, but even though MM is my favourite superhero (except for Batman of course) I grew up with superman being the definition of a powerful hero and I want him to be the strongest. Either way, it will be cool seeing his amazing and highly underrated character be depicted in live action if we ever do🤞

Bonzulac When he's Clark Kent with his mom he has a genuine smile as well as at the end of the film. Plus that awesome scene where he destroyed the world generator was inspiring as hell, definitely felt like Superman there. When he flew for the first time and had this beaming smile on his face. There were very Superman-ish moments in this film, it's really not that bad. Especially after BvS, I think you could grow a better appreciation of this movie if you saw it again.

I was speaking specifically of the performance of Cavill, not ones and zeros flying around other ones and zeros. I think Cavill has been cheated from playing Superman, and I'll be damned if I watch this pile of fucking shit again. As far as the score and CG producing inspiring moments, I'll just watch the trailer for that. It's still on KZfaq, and those few moments of inspiration in the movie are far better served by a three minute run time.

cavills performance is simple. he's evolving to become the superman that we recognize in the comics. unlike other superman films where we never really got to see the development. basically in this movie he isn't perfect(obviously), but its realistic in that sense. He makes mistakes but he's going with it and doing the best he can. so of course he isn't going to be the "comic superman" in the first movie. or even the second(bvs).

Man of Steel was solid but BvS was absolutely horrible. Zack is only good when he's given guidelines on what he's allowed to do or when he's adapting somebody else's work. BvS and Sucker Punch are an example of what he does when he makes up his own story, and it's not good. I've heard he'll be getting the same treatment for JL that he got here, and that makes me quite pleased.

+GFA Showcase Both Bruce and Clark's code of honor was that they take down the opponents, not kill them. And besides, they've been friends for so long until the US Gov (which became corrupted at that time) decided to disband the Justice League and force Bruce to "retire" for fear of their powers. In the original animated BvS, Clark just tries to fight him off and force him into re-retiring, not knowing that Bruce asked Oliver Queen to shoot a Kryptonite arrow at Clark's face which weakens him for Bruce to finish off and beat the crap out of him, tell him how wrong he was to have followed orders from a corrupted government.

***** considering Batman Vs Superman was more or less based on that storyline so I thought it was appropriate to go that way. Dark Knight Returns explained in a logical way why Bruce and Clark would ever fight each other, and if I hadn't watched that film, I would have confused as hell watching BvS as well.

I love the level of detail. In the first 3 seconds, you can hear one of the soldiers yell condition 1. That's an actual military term, it basically means have you rifle loaded and ready to fire.

I like how this version shows the realistic response the military would have. I also like how when handcuffed Superman has to physically keep his hands together in fists because if he relaxes his arms like he does later the cuffs would break.

I really think this scene displays what kind of person Superman is. He could have easily took out those tanks, but he chose not to. He was willing to surrender his freedom if it meant Earth would be left alone. I don't care if your a Superman fan or not, but he has the biggest heart for people even though may cost him his freedom and life.
