Some who know the officers involved in the Tyre Nichols case say at least one confirmed that he - and we are hearing several others - were with the new SCORPION Unit that MPD created in 2021 as a solution to fight crime. One man says the same SCORPION Unit stopped him on January 3, four days before Nichols was pulled over.

Cops are going to follow the law. There's always exceptions, but it's an outside chance if you are respectful and compliant. You mentioning some imaginary lawyer isn't going to prevent that if you've broken the law.

the law, as far as the clerks, judges, don't want to consider them monsters. Had a weird pull over years ago, nothing physical, just strange claims from a couple cops, James Keller, George Alvarez, King county deputies at the time, Sea Tac Washington state. They were trying to issue tickets from their defective police cruiser. I actually pled not guilty & requested them in court. They No-Showed, case dismissed. Years later, they were both proven liars, one tossed off the force for a killing, one tossed for lying. Bad Cops. Only the citizenry notices they are bad first, the people who make their living off fines do not know anything. Till horrible stuff happens. Request these monsters in court. Give them nothing. Funny thing, Keller still works as a cop, in my hometown. lol.

The Milwaukee Police Dept created the Tactical Squad in 1968. It was 100 hand picked men , all white, who were tough fighters. They rode 3 to an unmarked car. They beat a man to death in 1981. 2 officers got fired, one served 30 days in jail. Ernest Lacy was 5' 7" and 140 pounds. He was walking home from work. The cops who beat him to death were 190-210 pounds and tall.

She ran the REDDOG Unit in Atlanta (run every drug dealer out of georgia. Just like they say, they all were too inexperienced to be apart of that unit. I think CJ Davis with those hideous eyebrows put them in that unit because of their size, height and weight. They were big dudes

I admit it’s very tough being an officer, they do the jobs that we don’t want to do and go places we don’t want to- I appreciate the good cops that stand up for the citizens and communities that they patrol, but it’s a very thin line between duty and insanity that can be easily crossed and in this situation they crossed it.

I am from Memphis, had 5 cops , one black,come after me and I am a senior citizen black woman... I did nothing wrong .They apprehended me...I was traumatized..David against Goliath.Thought I would lose my life....There is a culture in Memphis dept.The whole force and dept need DOJ Civil Rights investigation...This has to stop and be dismantled...I am trying hard to get my story out..I know it will save future lives...This not just an one time isolated incident...

Adams county in Denver did the same thing to me because supposedly I was in a "bad area" and they were trying to fight the war on drugs. I wasn't doing nothing except sitting there eating an apple expanada in my truck when 4 or 5 officers showed up and pulled me out of my truck and threw me on the ground. I tried filing a complaint but nothing came of that either. Police officers that do this kind of shit need to be stopped, but they get away with it over and over again until someone innocent dies like what happened to tyre
