If you've ever been in a Bass Pro shop, it's more like Disney than Walmart. The crowd typically isn't the type where armed guards are needed, so they do not likely have police officers moonlighting as armed security like you typically see at a place like Walmart (my local Walmart anyway). I hope the bad guys didn't finally figure that out and now start targeting them. Good for that employee for at least giving them a little confrontation, but he did not look like he was physically prepared to take on 2 big guys so can't blame him for not taking it up a notch.

Held him till the police came and gave him a second chance since he was just passing through. I bought him tires and he claimed he was trying to get back to another state to go home. Dude with a broke clavicle escaped the hospital and had a warrant for his arrest. He CAME BACK 4.5 years later! He hid his bike in the Bushes by the employee parking. He snuck in through the dock and stole Bob's effing new bike. We saw on camera where he guys his bike and took it. We left a 📝 note. He came back with the police! AND CLAIMED WE STOLE HIS BIKE BWAHAHAHAHA. The police arrested him cuz he used a fake name and we found Bob's bike in the Bushes. I kept the thief's bike for a year then found the real owners name while doing some repairs and gave it to them. Turns out it was their late son's bike and they gave me $500. Man... felt good to do good in the community fr

I guess reparations need to expedite the check that's 400 years behind schedule. My uncle was lynched in 1955 for wearing his US Army uniform in public on a Sunday morning in Alabama......that was considered a life taking "Lynch worthy" crime. The things white people used to kill our ancestors was and still is .....endless, when all the majority of us wanted was a fair shake at life in a land that we were not asked to come to. For the damage done America would need to redirect funds to the tune of what they are sending to Ukraine. I don't see that happening anytime soon. I could tell you about my daily journeys and what I witness, but that would put a damper on all of our spirits. Some idiots with my skin color literally feel like they are "getting over", "getting back" on society. They are ultimately losing but refuse to recognize it.

Every video store I visited in the 80s and 90s kept the actual tape behind the counter and the empty cases sat on the shelves, to prevent larceny, and only after you paid did you receive the video tape which they placed inside the case you selected.

I disagree. Prisons are already overpopulated with serious violent criminals. It costs an average of 24K tax dollars a year for just one prisoner. Why should tax payers bear the burden of increased taxes just because some people like you want vigilante justice? I do not care if someone steals from a store. It is not my store or my problem. The burden is on the store to file charges against the criminals not people like me. I would prefer it if police prioritize violent criminal offenders and get them sent to prison over petty thieves. There are levels to criminals and violent offenders should be sent to prison as priority imo

We only send people to prison for a length of time for drug possession, etc. But not people who commit actual crimes like armed robbery, murder (there's no reason why this shouldn't be a minimum 60 year sentence), etc. Robbers shouldn't have to face jail time. Instead they have to owe that money back to whoever they stole it from. Except armed robbery which should carry a long prison sentence plus loose their gun rights.

They get jailed then there back out! And we tax payers pay for it! What a country:/
