I don't know why the irish guy says he is a defensive coach. Just because he plays "direct football" doesn't mean it's defensive. It just means it focused on getting the ball up the pitch quicker. You can still hold on to the ball and try to dominate games.

Glasner is not a defensive coach. When he arrived, the first thing he said about his style was, "i want to score goals." Just because he plays 3 centre backs doesn't make him a defensive coach.

The biggest problem is that the media never admits that palace win against bigger teams. It’s that the bigger team lost and then they never give palace the recognition! Glasner has turned this team around and it is refreshing to watch my team actually want to win a game rather than play for a draw!!!

Even Man City in their second game together this season, didn't break Utd down, which they should have done even to a fully-healthy Utd team.

i mean, any manager can deserve the sack. Irish Guy was just screaming for it too early. I think we'll largely judge ten Hag for who he's replaced by later and how well that guy does in comparison. Much like e.g. everyone thought Mourinho deserved to go at Man Utd at the time, but in retrospect he did a pretty good job. Or Ancelotti finished what, 10th with Everton? It was viewed as a pretty poor result at the time, but seeing how they've turned into a relegation fighter every year since, that was also rather good. Thankfully as a non Man Utd fan i can just watch what they do and grab the popcorn lol. Do I think ten Hag should go? No clue. I don't really care in truth, either. And while it's generally fun to see teams succeed,there's something funny about their demise as a big club falling like this.

If the Arsenal or City come in for any they'll walk, if Utd come in they'll run, away, fast. I'd quite like to see Olise at Arsenal but he would be better off staying at Palace for a couple years first to finish this part of his development because he likely wouldn't get much game time right now. Realistically he'd be competing for Martin Ødegaard's role, he's not ready for that yet.

Ferna’s final season 21-22 he was generally up to his normal standards tbh just getting phased out by Rodri. His dodgy season if anything was 19-20 but that’s cause he had to be used out of position a lot as we had a load of CB injuries, incredible player tho trying to be as unbiased as possible but insane consistency we couldn’t have achieved anything like as much as we did while he was with us without him

If Manchester United want to reset the squad it's not going to be an easy transition. Because we've seen it with Chelsea this season. Tons of new players, very young squad, so much inexperience and it's been a season of growing pains. If United want that, prepare to risk finishing even lower in the table than usual.

Man Utd fans, still haven’t worked out they are now only a slightly better than average team. They are not the crème de la crème anymore. As long as they keep demanding instant success they never will be. You need to get a manager in and build a team but maybe expect it to take at the quickest 4-5 years to challenge, because most of the squad, not just team, would struggle to get into 2/3rds of the other PL squads let alone teams.
