How is it Simon couldn't see anything in ETH? He brought utd from 7th or 8th to 3rd and in 2 cup finals winning one of them in his first season. This season just exposed utd in their transfer policy which the scouts and management had the main control just showed the team couldn't deal with an injury crisis. Many areas were lacking in debt which resulted in the team collapsing. The negotiation and bringing in players were so poor has nothing to do with ETH spending badly and selling players were so poor.

I've been one advocating for Ten Haags dismissal since the Brentford game. But I have to say after seeing him before the game against Newcastle with the fans then watching him fighting giving the speech afterwards I think I may of been too hasty. It's clear he has made mistakes this season despite the injuries however the bloke is learning on the job. If he manages to get the team to pull out a performance against City, not neccessarily win it. I think giving him the start of next season with a new and fresh squad under the new ownership and club management is probably the right way to go.
