I'd say they looked wild-caught, if it weren't for the reddish patch along the back and dorsal fin; that's how consistent and perfect they are.

Redback Basin Ah nice! Habe gerade ah den Titeln deiner anderen Videos gesehen, dass du eh auch deutsch sprichst :D schauen echt super aus deine Rotrückenskalare, hast ja nichts an der Farbe vom Video geändert oder?^^ Ich bin gerade dabei ein 600l Aquarium aufzustellen und da müssen auf jeden fall auch Rotrückenskalare hinein! Hast du vl Tipps worauf ich achten sollte bei Jungtiere, zwecks Farbgebung später? Wird ja, umso älter sie werden, noch ausgeprägt die Farbe oder? LG Bernhard

Bernhard Jano nein am Video wurde nichts gemacht :) wöchentlichen größer Wasserwechsel, viel Platz, eine große Jungtier Gruppe, abwechslungsreiches Futter 4x täglich, zB genzel Granulat, Frostfutter ( weiße schwarze mülas, artemia, Miesmuscheln,) lebend guppys und Garnelen und mülas

6 aufwärts. Für 600 kannst auch 8-9 Tiere reinsetzen. Ca 60l pro Fisch rechnen

Klasse Video und Bilder 🥰👌🏻 sehr schöne und gesunde Tiere 👍🏻 haben erst vorgestern unser 720L Becken eingerichtet und schon gestern per Zufall 13 Rotrückenskalare bekommen (ca 8-10 Wochen) alt. Wie viele müsste ich den für eine artgerecht Haltung abgeben (haben 200x60x60cm) wenn wir noch Nebenbesatz wie ~100 rote Neons, Panzer Welse und 6-8 Maronibuntbarsche? Und mit wie vielen Wochen bekommen die Jungtiere ihre markante rote Färbung?
