Stores making deliveries through DoorDash can be such a pain. I ordered from a restaurant and but put in the street number wrong by one number (my neighbors address). Realizing my mistake early, I kept an eye out, but no one came. Then it was marked as delivered! Confused, I tried calling the store, but of course they couldn’t do anything. Luckily the driver had messaged me, and then called me directly. Somehow the DoorDash system gave HIM a completely different address, a complete different number and street. I was lucky that he stuck around to help me figure it out instead of blowing me off, (the other street was still within my neighborhood) and the restaurant did call me back later to make sure the issue was resolved. Could have gone a lot worse.

same i had one doordash driver who didn't pay attention to the gps of where my address is, and she purposefully left my order at the wrong house and i let doordash know and they redid the order for me, and they at least blacklisted her from my address.

The only one to blame here is you for typing the wrong address
@LDk4816
@LDk4816 3 ай бұрын
@@jackmemphis777 Nope, it’s not. Yes, the address put in was for the door next to mine (25215 My St. instead of 25217 My St.) thanks to the geolocation feature, which I didn’t realize was on. It’s maybe 20 feet away. I live in a condo. We share a wall. It should have been delivered there, and it wouldn’t have been a biggy. It’s NOT my fault that DoorDash somehow gave the driver an address a couple streets away with an unrelated street number (23544 Not My Pl.). Assuming it’s all automated, I don’t get how he got that address. Had I put in the correct address it probably would have still been delivered to the wrong place. 🤷 Part of the issue is that the restaurant has no idea who picked up the order and therefore no was of contacting them directly. I would have had to go through DoorDash, who already had the completely wrong address (maybe due to some tech error?). The only reason it was resolved is because the driver bothered to call, which was super nice of him.

Story 1. If a customer didn't place an order through the DoorDash app, door dash drivers have 0 business delivering the order. 2. Song going through my mind during the story: "Time to do some sketchy shit, Doo dah, Doo dah, hope I get away with it, oh the Doo dah day."

Story 1: wow, that actually sounds like the pizza place in my town, or at least _was_ the pizza hut in my town. It actually shut down like last year due to terrible sales. The manager there had a legendarily bad rep for getting orders wrong and just telling customers to pound sand when they complained. He even was known to blame order problems with Door Dash all the time too.

In story 2 it’s not about boys or the ages really. It’s about a teenager not wanting to babysit people who are bigger than her. To the OP it’s a safety thing. And that comes first. I’m from a big (size wise) family. My dad had facial hair in the 6th grade so did my little brother. I also babysat a lot and still do. I wouldn’t EVER babysit where I felt unsafe. And that’s what this comes down to. OP didn’t feel safe and it is their right to be safe. She

I work with doordash for a long time as a customer service representative since the customer ordered directly from the store not from the doordash app meaning the refund or any compensation should be shouldered by the store not the delivery provider second the protocol of the doordash drivers are not allowed to open the delivery because it's seal and ofc for health safety reason.

6:19 They may have lied to her about their ages.But you really can't always tell someones Age by the way they look. Honestly a lot of twelve year olds are very tall and have visible facial hair these days. 7:58 If they are not truly under the age that you agreed to babysit that no , you're not wrong , but if you're making assumptions and these kids really are the age they say danya , you kinda are the jerk because you accuse them of lying and trying to trick you. But not babysitting children physically bigger than you in size is a good idea.I think. 11:25 It doesn't matter how big you are.It's never okay for someone to hit you, She sounds like a Spoiled lazy Child And if you stay with her you will regret it it will really get worse !! I would kick her out and block her. 14:13 You are not her parents , She is toxic and abusive!!

*《BABYSITTER STORY》* The second OP's client _(the mother that recommended the new family)_ claimed "maybe one is 11, but the other really is 9", I would've said: _"Well that's great! Because now I'm going to need you to convince your friend to provide me with proof of her children's ages if you want me to continue working for you moving forward. I cannot trust anyone that would lie or manipulate me so they can ignore my clearly stated & reasonable boundaries."_ Because if that lady was lying to guilt trip OP, she cannot be trusted.

The second story. I feel that everyone in the story is a jerk, the OP for assuming that boys are older, the mother getting angry at the OP for asking for some kind of proof of their age and the friend who didn't warn the OP that the kids were more physically developed. Also I got to ask do female babysitters get accosted that badly by bigger kids when they are babysitting ? I'm asking cause it seems like the OP seems traumatized by boys bigger than her or has read some scary stories.

@Regden1000 3 ай бұрын
@@viviennemorgan7217 We can be sure that they are taller but we can't be sure if they are older. Like I said perhaps the boys are more physically developed, they could have had a growth spurt at an early age or one of the parents is BIG and they inherited that trait. The reasons I'm doubtful that they are older is because of a couple of reasons. For one why do teenagers need to be babysat ? And why did the mother decide to look after her kids instead of just leaving with her husband? And finally the friend that recommended the OP was pretty sure that one of them was 9. Given the situation it was reasonable to ask for some kind of proof of their age but the OP strikes me as someone fearful of older bigger boys since she said age isn't an issue when it comes to girls.
