This is the first I have seen the bed mat. Interesting gadget. With our Apex that's only 18'7" inside we have had good luck leaving the main roof vent slightly open. Also, open and run the bathroom fan when having a shower. It makes a world of difference.

Great video on condensation control. For sure, use a dehumidifier, circulate air and vent during cooking and showers as indicated. Using a space heater can reduce the issue since your furnace can cause some condensation as well. Just being in your RV and breathing can cause some condensation, just like your truck cab. Another way to reduce condensation under the RV bed is to add a layer of insulation. This keeps the temperature differential away from bedding, as most RVs have part of the bed a piece of plywood from the cold pass thru. I use the Fatigue Matt's from Harbor Freight! They are inexpensive, lock together and are a dense foam. WNYBob

The den dry is installed upside down. I just got one. The instructions say, install with the felt side up.

They have fixed it. They said that having it installed upside down was still effective.

A great low tech item is "the absorber" to at least wipe the widows. It's a space age towel that acts like a giant sponge.

I’m glad I saw this video because I think we’ve been doing something that’s not necessary. We live in Maryland so it doesn’t get super cold here. When we put our fifth wheel in storage, we put a large bucket of Damp Rid in it. It seems you only need to worry about condensation if you are using your rig. What do you think?

It's a good idea to keep damp rid in your RV even in storage. You will have outside humidity that can come in. It's true that there is a lot more during use. But you are on the right track for storage.
