Mindfulness, meditation and rehabilitation shows your still being proactive the only difference is your focus and rightly so. Sometimes it’s right to focus on yourself so you can get through to the other side in one piece.👍

My friends been dealing with the after effects of his concussion and watching this has brought me hope for him. I'm going to send this to him and hopefully it will help him have a better grasp of how to go about living his life. "This is a temporary thing. For most of the rest of my life this is just going to be something that happened to me once." I love your outlook and I am glad that I found this channel. I've watched some of your other videos too and you definitely gained a subscriber.

I’m glad to see you taking time to look after yourself. I was told once that I won’t be able to move from my neck down and to get used to my wheelchair. So trust me, I know how frustrating it is not to be able to do things for yourself. If I can walk and dance again, you soon will be doing all those things you want but you have to take care of yourself. The longer you keep doing things, the longer it will take to recover so take your time. I love mindfulness and also positive affirmations. I think affirmation will be good for you. Take time for yourself, look after you for once. I know is not easy but you will be stronger afterwards. If you can’t do things, please check the woofers. Is so many people looking for places to stay in exchange for work. Many of them have experience too. Do it for your wife and yourself. For her so she can have a brake and for you so you don’t have to feel guilty or hopeless. Take time to rest and the more you do those exercises, the faster you will recover. And I know they hurt, but push trough the pain and frustration, visualise yourself doing all those chores and stronger them ever and you will. When I was ill, all I wanted was to be able to walk my dog to the park again, and guess what, I did, so this will soon pass and depends of you how fast. The body heals by resting so take your time. I wish you all the best for a speedy recovery and looking forward to see how much the goats being missing you 💕 your wife is a legend!!!

I'm just catching up on videos whilst knitting this evening. Thank you for talking so openly about mental health. It benefits everyone to see others talking comfortably and frankly about anxiety and depression. I am so sorry that you and your family are going through this. It's unfortunate that you can't press the fast forward button on this one and place it firmly in the past tense already, but you will get there.

Hey there, this is a very late to the party comment. I found your KZfaq a couple of weeks ago and after bouncing round a few videos in no particular order have been catching up on the back catalogue both here and the podcast (up to 111 I believe!), both of which I obviously enjoy. I had to comment on this video though; I had a head injury a few years ago which became post concussion syndrome and took a good while to regain a sense of normal from. I wish I’d been able to articulate the hallucinations as you described them as well at the time as you did here, I still believe it’s something you can only fathom if you’ve experienced it. Anyway I’m waffling, obviously I’ve seen other episodes and am thrilled to already know you continue to recover splendidly, but wanted to take the this moment to thank you for all your content and more so for being you and such an engaging and relatable chap. All the best
