Жыл бұрынCinque Terre is made up for five separate villages on the Italian Riveira coastline. We spent a few days in Manarola and also did a trek from Manarola to Corniglia (one of the neighbouring villages).
Our lunch spot had friendly staff, tasty and fresh dishes plus it's also very close to the start of the Manarola to Corniglia trail.

What a beautiful area, such colorful houses and that lovely blue sea. It's so hilly it makes Wellington look flat 😉 I can imagine the scents during the walk, lemon groves smell so fresh! 🍋

I remember waking the endless amount of stairs on that walk before not being able to finish it because of a tiny foot wide track that was on the edge of a cliff (my mum is terrified of heights)

Oh...you guys have inspired us to visit Italy in the summer and we're travelling by train. Hopefully there are no more strikes as it looked very stressful 😬 Looks like an amazing place though! The fish burgers looked delicious ☺

Breakfast was a feast for our eyes 😃in addition to being Peter's hearty start to the day. Manrola, makes a good picture to be blown up and placed by the foyer, welcome to my pad 🏡. Hope Kershaw (spell check) felt better the next day🙏🏻. Thanks for a lovely breakfast vlog, esp doing a vlog whilst walking for 2.5 hours. Fingers crossed that the train ride back was on time🫣

You're close L H 😁 spelling is Kershia. Fortunately the day of rest was enough to be ok for the rain ride back to Florence. The train ride back was all good time wise. As long as the trains aren't on strike they're very punctual. Hope you had a yummy breakfast 😊

You're so right. The strike could have been for the whole day and we would have had to book a private car which was so much more expensive around 450euros 😅

Oh! My! Goodness! How many videos that I am behind, I think I counted 11 videos behind! Yeah always love your opening teaser clips! Heck train strikes sounds like a few things of what's happening here with some public transport! Heck a few hours delay that's crazy - yeah hopefully you DID get to your accommodation! Yeah Peter is hungry again! What an interesting location where you started the walk from the cafe; looks like an old quarry site! What a cool coastal city though! Hope you asked the locals on how to get to the point and lookout! Always love the colour of the water there and YES glad there was no chance of you getting lost! Ah so not an old quarry site but constructed for wine making! Yeah great idea to end video at that lookout point! Stunning views there and super great job on this!

Was thinking as I was watching.. wait, no shorts and jandals Peter??? What the heck? And then you mentioned being sorry for wearing pants and shoes… I would have plead ignorance to the no flip flop rule… who enforces that rule anyway 😂… “What a day” pretty much sums up your whole train ride fiasco… what a day.. 3 hours becoming 10.5 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫 But bad days make great memories, right? 😁😁😁 Looked like a beautiful time…got to the flags 🇮🇹 and had a great hike all the while avoiding the rain ☺️.. great vid guys! Dude! Saw the coolest bug yesterday. We think it was a Morrocon armored cricket, but it's called sulumu locally here. It was sooooo cool! Hahaha yeah we were all saying to each other it kinda sucks right now with being tired and hungry but these make for funny stories that you remember later on the track 😂 Yeah... made an incorrect life decision with the clothing that day 😅

😂 we were pretty tired after this one. There's a lot of stairs going up the side of the mountain ⛰️ but the views were definitely worth it

I appreciate so much your commitment to correct pronunciation. I see so many videos where they really butcher it and Corniglia is frequently, and easily mispronounced. Great video. We were there after you guys in July.
