Jim Reeves sings several of his hits 'I Love You Because' 'Bimbo' and 'Four Walls' with a small part of 'Blue Canadian Rockies' at a concert in Norway, April 15, 1964.

Ok, So I am 65...on my phone and saw his song,He will have to to go, I thought, oh my Mom played his songs...suddenly overcome with emotions at listening to Jim Reeves! The tears started flowing and I was back at home with my Mother in our living room with Jim's music in the background...It took me a few minutes to recover... I miss my Mother! I dont know what you call this...but it was powerful....like I stepped back into my childhood. 😢

My Dad was a lifelong fan of Jim Reeves and I have a short video on my phone of him singing along to Jim Reeves just before he passed away aged 91, he tried his best to sing God bless him and I shall treasure it forever.

This was Jim's last concert in Norway, just 3 months 16 days before his untimely death in an air crash on 31st July 1964! Jim's music will live forever in our hearts...

I play Jim Reeves to my nan when I visit her. She has dementia but remembers most words to Jim's songs. Makes my heart burst with love watching her sing along ❤️

I was born in London England and in 1964/5 I was 16/17 and loved to hear Jim sing any of HIS songs. He is buried in Carthage Texas and there is a large statue standing by his grave. Lots of Love JIm.

Here we are in May 2021 still listening to Jim Reeves: I must have been about 10yo when I first heard his mellow voice: My Mum had a 33 and a third LP of his gospel songs: He gave back to God the voice he was blessed with in song and the world was a better place. Thanks for posting this now rare footage of Jim in action: I even liked his response to the little lyric boo boo he made in 'Four Walls': a truly humble man. - Now with his Saviour in Eternity. I was 2 years old when Jim showed up in norwegian TV. The hole family incl. my grandmother age 87 sat in front of the black and white screen to look at this american who came along and start singing. And my grandmother felt so in love with this man from america, that she couldn`t sleep for a year!!! What a great time it was!
