I really like combo of cultist with scout + infiltrate with nurslings = great turn 1 board control, objectives and boil blight. 3 squads of each that's my chaff

@Aiden, Remember the turn 1 monolith play. You want to be the Chad that brought 2 plaguecasters, no preds, and no Morty, and became an absolute legend after you won. Plus, this list plays into your playstyle better too.

Amazing as always. Why don’t you try reaching out to Lawrence or Joe from @tabletoptactics? There’s some love for DG, CSM and Emperor’s Children there… and they’re going to start running some tournies. Could be interesting to see what their view of competitive 40K is. Dave from SN would be super interesting to speak with too. Keep up the amazing work. If I ever finish painting my stinky lads, I’d love to go to a tournament. I’ve only played a couple of small games so far, but love your pearls of wisdom 👍

The Gladiator Reaper thing is pretty on point, I preferred when it was 24 honest shots not the critical hit/wound abuser it is now.

I'd even be okay if it was dev vs infantry. Because that's its role but the fact you can just dev wound vehicles to death is just wrong

The off meta list looks fun! Just a suggestion for you to consider: you can remove a pbc, cultist unit and fbd and instead add 2 destructors (AT), pathogen on lov, and a second unit of nurglings.

The Defiler+LOV is amazing into Custodes. D6+4 shots hitting on 2's. If they are in contagion wounding on 2's. With Ferric Blight they are ait their invuls. Each failed save picks up a model.

For a challenge maybe all three of you have to swap your most popular army list with each other and play that for an event. E.g. tool box, carpark, carnivores.

Also. I've been running way more Bubotic weapons than Heavy plague weapons recently. Especially with Custodes, Catan, and Dreads in Meta. Reduces to 1 damage anyway. Plus with the Biologis having an extra attack to explode/lethal with the strat is just way more consistent. I don't like running heavy plague weapons unless I'm running tallyman for the +1 to hit. Just too inconsistent

Better check your firing deck rules Aiden. Can only be used in the shooting phase, so no flamers unfortunately

Totally a game by game basis, sometimes they just go solo and ride around in the rhino all game

I know but hear me out... Death Guard Sorceror - if you don't use his pestilent familiar to buff his spell, and take a force weapon, things get interesting... Force weapon, deadly pathogen, pestilence familiar. 6A, S10, AP-2(w/contagion), D3+2 damage. With the -1T thrown in of course. I run two, each with 3 deathshroud. Like I say, just for when you don't want to buff his spell and fancy some 5 damage strength 10 attacks haha Would love to know your thoughts x

Typhus with 6 D shroud is somewhat meta. i think 2 Sorcs with 2- 3 mans is less for more points

As someone who played against the 5 Ctan wraith spam it is indeed a miserable game, player can be the nicest person ever, second I see the list I just assume they hate people having a fun game

I don’t hate Dev wounds as a concept, but the amount of 0 AP dev wound weapons kills me. Like why does this bounce off most of the time and punch through occasionally? Big fan of like AP -3 or -4 weapons having devs because you know that’s a powerful gun that punched hard, but pea shooters shouldn’t use that rule imo.
