This team featured George Boyd and Lee Trundle - if you know football you know these guys are a handful for any defender. They are both still active professionally in lower league ball. I didn't see any retired players on their roster and I didn't see any active players on the ladies team. Several players on the ladies roster had never been called up. Lots of inaccurate info being passed around about this tournament. A futsal team from Sandy Hook ended up winning the whole thing. This match was meant to be fun but it's being used by the right wingers as an excuse to speak against equal pay for women. The bottom line is that until the US men's team can fill up a stadium on their own, win a gold medal in the olympics, and hoist the world cup 4 times - the women should be paid more than the men.
