if you got a lot of alcohol in your system, which both of them did. It would of impaired his judgement of the situation, and probably was confrontational like her. Alcohol and a hot temper don't mix. Also shocked and disbelief, anger, of what she did, probably caused him not to think straight.

This why I never drink too much and allow myself to become vulnerable. Too much alcohol in your system, you become vulnerable to others and yourself. Young people think its fun to go out and get hammered, but they don't realise, what a dangerous situation they can find themselves. This situation, can happen to anyone, its a tragic case all round, they were planning to have a family together.

For the Crown Prosecution, it will be expensive to defend against all her appeals. The Crown Prosecution will then 'suggest' a lower sentence so she doesn't appeal from it, allowing them to save face and money with a short but assured conviction with earlyrelease. Because it's a man, there's no public outcry, no vigils like those held for Sarah Everard. No one is suggesting that all women should be banned from driving, as women demanded for a curfew for all men after 9 pm because of Sarah. Men and women are legally treated differently.

Two-thirds of 10 is not 4. Also, a judge cannot legally impose a sentence without parole for a single murder, unless there is a significant hate crime or terrorist factor involved, which does not appear to apply here.

@@debbiejames3096 nope. you get life but parole at x years generally. either way the point stands. women get shorter sentences. this has been pretty well researched across the western world by lots of universities and ngos and they generally come up with the same result=men get harsher sentencing. the most obvious example being the death p[penalty in the usa where around 10 percent of convicted murderers are female yet only around 2 percent of death sentences and 1 percent of executions carried out are of females. that doesn't take into account countries where the death penalty exists for men only ie belarus or countries like singapore where certain crimes are punished by corporal punishment such as caning, but only for men naturally. these studies are frequent and easy to find so you can just google 'sentence disparity by gender' and loads will come up. theres not really much question about it. i dont think there are any countries with either corporal or capital punishment for women only and you'd struggle to find any where women get equal let alone harsher punishment even in places like iran it tends not to be the case. unsurprisingy the half of society which is regularly mass disposed of at a whim (currently happening in ukraine) and which is the group seen as being legitimate to strip of all control of their bodies and that not be considered sexist or discriminatory (see finland,estonia,ukraine) whilst being lectured (by women) about 'equality''choice''bodily autonomy' and 'sexism' is also the group that attracts harsher punishment. obviously if a group is seen as having less rights and less worth simply for existing then it follows that if it misbehaves it will be punished worse than the preferred group that is not legitimately enslavable and disposable and lo it comes to pass that when women behave appallingly societies still find it difficult to hold them to the standards of grown adults. all whilst demanding they are given the rights and privileges of the most successful members of the other group, naturally.
