Just remember that there's two separate realities that are also happening at two different points in time going on here, so In Zack's story which takes place earlier in time than the main story; it's him, Biggs, Sleepy Cloud, and Sleepy Aerith and the rest were killed in the "tornado." And in the standard timeline, Zack, Biggs, Wedge, and Jesse are all dead and It's following the OG story. Jesse being at the Golden Saucer was confirmed in a post to be a VR re-enactment of Loveless.

I think that you wanting that is the devs goal in order to pull off being able to crush both new players and old ones all over again ;) It's what I would do. It's the only way that both new and old players can experience the wonder of not knowing and getting crushed again.

The nice thing is, all questions will be answered when you get to play the next game. This game is very special to me. "When we meet again" piece of lyrics. I'm excited for the Reunion with my friends on their journey in Rebirth.

I hope they let us choose as always but I’ll always pick Aerith first playthrough because she’s the canon date in FF7. Even in Remake, the most possible probability from Square is Aerith which makes sense since she’s the canon choice in the OG too.

The prevailing theory is that Zack is in another timeline/dimension. Apparently, Biggs is alive in this timeline but the rest of Avalanche are dead. Cloud is in his dazed state and Aerith is in a coma? An interesting thought is if the two timelines are connected and if people can cross between the two worlds. The previous trailer had Sephiroth talking about "Reunion...when worlds collide".

Mandy you should have seen the performance of the FF7 Rebirth Theme Song on the Game Awards! It was amazing and a huge surprise for everyone. They also showed the Trailer there but the Theme Song was way longer then the short version in the Trailer. Yes the song was sung by Aerith, on the Game Awards the Voice Actress for Aerith performed the song. So yeah it probably means that Aerith is going to sing in the game. The Theme Song for Rebirth also has kinda a note of Aeriths Theme there in the end.

This next new trailer of FF7 Rebirth has been VERY EXCITING!!! We finally saw CID and he looks awesome and Dyne does too! That song was very beautiful and despite what Marlene said to Zack just now I still hope Aerith will not be killed this time. I simply cannot WAIT for this too girl!😉😂

It’s the impossibly realistic hairstyles, and probably has something to do with the eyes that always have some unique at tribute to them, sometimes… My favorite character is still Snow 😂 and his unique features are not very unique if I’m being honest, he’s probably the most realistic MC male in Final Fantasy

I don't think that is what Aerith will sound like when she sings on stage. That is probably just the official recording of the song for the end credits. My burning question is that if Aerith is really singing, is Briana going to step up and sing for us? I hope so. I would so love to hear that song with Briana's voice. They could probably even just do an AI version if Briana didn't want to actually sing it but was ok with lending her voice for the AI.

When this came on, I literally turned away... I don't want anymore footage of FF7: Rebirth or anything than can possibly be spoilers. I'm already sold, it's my most anticipated game by far... I will say this though, to me FF7 is all about team Tifa vs team Aerith, and from the glimpses I saw of this, it looked like it featured a lot of Aerith. So team Aerith people were probably excited by this.

U could say Cloud had a crush on Tifa when he was a young event though Tifa never cares about him cuz she had a bunch of friends surround her.

Zack 💔🥹 let me just say I do not care about the original game😂 i’m sorry, but it’s way too outdated in graphics for me to even entertain the idea of playing all the way through. I don’t know about the story, though I guess it holds up, but this remake is all that matters to me✌️😅 If Aerith does sing this song in the game the one we are hearing in the trailer is probably the one that plays at the end credits sung by someone else entirely, because it does not sound like Briana White but then again, Keith Urban does not sound Australian when he sings

Aerith Gold Saucer date is the definitive canon as stated in the FF7 Dismantled book supervised and released by Square Enix.
