Stem cutting from mandevilla can be taken in the spring or summer. Choose side shoots 2-3 inches long and cut them from the plant. Dip the cut ends in powdered rooting hormone (NAA 1000ppm) and insert them into sandy peat soil.

I accidentally dropped my Mandevilla this summer. Two pieces broke off. I simply stuck them back in the pot and they survived. I didn't think about it till seeing this video. I wish now that I'd cut a few pieces before frost hit. Maybe next year.

Muchas gracias por sus enseñanzas ...yo compre 2 una roja y una blanca hace 15 dias aun estan en su bolsa pero a los 2 dias q la traje a casa se cayeron las 2 flores q tenían.y por loq me di cuenta tambien cayeron las q estaban por abrir.los palitos de la flor estaban marrón.como secos..ahora estan sin flor pero le estan saliendo hojitas..es normal q se le caigan las flores ? Ni siquiera las transplante solo les traje de otra ciudad ..en el día le da un poco de sol bueno aveces cuando es fuerte el sol por las mañanas ..pero por las noches hace frío puede ser por eso ? Ayúdame porfavor ..ya hasta me da miedo trasplantarlas.. muchas gracias

Hola, mandevilla sensible o dipladenia al cambiar de posición de plantación. La manifestación del árbol es amarillamiento cerca de la raíz o caducifolio. o la flor se cae como dijiste.

En mi país, la temperatura nunca está por debajo de los 25 grados centígrados, así que no sé cómo afectará el frío a la mandevilla.

Hola, Mi país solo tiene estaciones lluviosas y secas, por lo que la mandevilla se puede propagar durante todo el año. Sin embargo, es mejor propagar la mandevilla en primavera.

Thanks! Great video! Any chance you can give the English name for the solution you dipped it in? I’m gonna guess it’s rooting hormone though & try that. Figures. I took Spanish in high school & French in college & both were useless to figure this out. Lol. Thanks so much. I appreciate that you showed the close-ups so I can see what ur doing. Hello, Best time for mandevilla cuttings is in spring. Best rooting rate is when mandevilla is about to form flower buds. Mandevilla is too young to rot when cuttings, and when mandevilla is already flowered, it takes longer to root. + Cuttings after plugging into pots, covered with nylon bags. Cuttings pots are incubated on moist coir-covered soil. Every day I water the ground with coir to moisten the mandevilla cuttings area. + Above the cuttings area, I shielded the net to reduce sunlight by 70%. I am in Vietnam, the weather is usually 35 degrees C hotter during the day.

@@mariaarevalo6874 I think he’s using rooting hormone. Walmart sells it for about $4 as a powder. Some ppl use cactus on their cuttings. The cactus also works as a disinfectant. You cut a cactus & rub the cut part of your plant along the gooey cut part of ur cactus like you use aloe on burns & plant it.

Здравствуйте, при размножении мандевиллы черенками я не помещаю лоток для черенков в прозрачный нейлоновый пластиковый экран. Причина, по которой в районе, где я живу, средняя температура 22 градуса по Цельсию и влажность 80%. Поэтому нет необходимости в прозрачных нейлоновых пластиковых экранах. Еще один способ размножения мандевиллы посадкой черенков во флористический пенопласт вы можете посмотреть в этом видео, это очень эффективный метод. You want to cut between nodes as in node above & node under & make sure you have at least 2 full sets of leaves above where you cut. Then you remove most of the leaves Bc you want the plant to use all its energy to produce new roots & new leaves & branches. For roses it’s 5 leaves for a full set, but each plant is different & you can look that up easily on Wikipedia. I believe he dipped it in Rooting hormone with helps the rooting process. Hola yo vivo en el Centro Ca. Y m encanta esa planta pero la puse dónde le daba el sol medio día x la mañana y en verano la puse en interior solo floreo un tiempo se m seco sería x q la metí? Ahora quiero comprar otra pero maceta más chica para poder cambiarla unas hrs en sol luego meterla pero se logrará así? X q luego dicen q se estresan... Agradezco q m oriente x favor Gracias

Hola, + Mandevilla necesita plantarse donde haya mucho sol para que el árbol florezca mucho. En concreto, debe haber más de 5 horas de sol al día. + Además, el árbol suele florecer profusamente de octubre a marzo del próximo año. + Debe podar las puntas, cortar las flores muertas después de cada flor para estimular nuevos brotes. Las flores generalmente se desarrollan en los tallos de los nuevos brotes. + Mover el árbol todos los días, no es realmente bueno para el árbol y toma su tiempo. Es como si estuvieras cambiando constantemente de lugar, ¡probablemente no te guste esto! Algunas ideas para compartir con ustedes. ¡Bienvenida amistosa!

Pode os galhos infestados e queime. No restante da planta aplique solução de água com 1 colher de sopa de detergente neutro. Depois capriche na adubação. Cochonilha ataca plantas mal nutridas.

I think he dipped it in rooting hormone if that helps & you remove extra leaves that the plant doesn’t need so that the plant puts its energy into creating roots & new leaves. I hope that helps.

Nossa que legal ganhei uma muda dessa planta coloquei na água ficou dois meses para enrraizar mas eu consegui eu não sabia que tinha que colocar um líquido que líquido é esse que coloca para ajudar enraíza ? a minha plantinha agora vai dar flor tá cheia de botãozinho você sabe me dizer quantos metros ela cresce? Será que dá para fazer cerca viva com ela? gostaria de colocar na grade!

Se estiver em seu país, você pode fazer isso. Você pode usar 1 dos seguintes estimulantes de raiz: Hormex Rooting Hormone Powder #1 (indole 3 butyric acid IBA 1000ppm), Bontone II Rooting Powder (indole 3 butyric acid IBA 1000ppm), Hormex Vitamin B1 Rooting Hormone Concentrate (napthaleneacetic acid NAA 2400ppm), Hormodin #1 Rooting Hormone (0.1% IBA).. Não sei que tipo de mandevila é. A escalada de Mandevilla tem uma altura média de cerca de 2m. O arbusto tem cerca de 60 cm de altura
