To be fair the next remakes will be unova but that will be next gen as shown we get a new remake every 2 gens and usually double ak gen 2 being remade in gen gen 4 and 3 to 6.

That last post was really resonating with me because I’ve been watching Mikey’s videos for 8 years now and I’m graduating 8th grade this year and I’m terrified to start again in a new school but Mikey has been the only KZfaqr ive stuck with for all this time and really brings smile whenever I see a new video posted.

Best of luck in high school. It will likely be harder than middle school, but try to avoid falling into a depressive state. I can tell you from experience, it's not fun. Anyways, enjoy! There may be more books in the school library available to you, and you may discover new sides of yourself(for me, it was my major anime/manga nerd and animator/visual artist sides). Take the classes you want, but don't lose sight of graduation requirements. If you feel like it, I'm sure you'll be able to make new friends. I'm acting so wise, but I'm only a 9th grader myself. Classes will get tougher, and if you're not prepared for it, your grades may drop quite a bit below your middle school grades(My math grade between 8th and 1st semester 9th dropped around 11 points). Also, if you're wondering about why I specified 1st semester, my high school runs on a block schedule(4 classes per semester, so 8 classes throughout the year, as opposed to 6). Anyways, good luck!

Very sweet ending! I’m a college gal myself and I’ve been watching you for a few years now - I always describe your channel as my “comfort channel” when asked about some of my favorite KZfaqrs. I figured this out by looking at the Galar gym leader uniforms and their league card signatures They’re a made up alphabet that when translated, is the Japanese spelling of words, for example Allister’s uniform has four symbols that translate to “Gost”, the Japanese spelling of “Ghost”. And his signature on his league card uses the same “o” symbol twice in the correct spots when spelling his name, which implies that he signed his Japanese name, “Onion”.

I first found Mikey’s content around when Pokèmon USUM was announced and found the old fake region video and loved your content ever since. I vividly remember rewatching the entire Pokèmon Talk series from my crappy Kindle and watching freak out at the story of Pokèmon Insurgence. It wasn't just one scene. There are countless scenes with everything from rifles, rocket launchers, tanks, explosives, and so on. Just off hand, I can recall officer jenny with an M1 Carbine, a whole grocery store full of people with MAS 36 rifles, and a whole private army with M16s. And of course team rocket with their rocket launchers.

I remember back in 1st grade I was a transfer student from the other side of the country (US), because of my new accent and difficulties with speaking, I often got judged by the teachers and in turn the other students hated me. It was only until early June at the end of the school year I had found Mikey's channel for the first time. I don't feel like looking but the video was one about a Wailord making jokes which young me found hilwailious *Snap* (Nice). Several accounts, and almost 9 whole years later I still watch you. Thank you for showing the meme at the end reminding me of my past and brightening mine, and everyone else's lives Mikey.

13:20 Joke aside, it's technically incorrect. All of the Pokémon plurals are also the singular. The anime, games, and manga all make this pretty clear. It's never "Look at all of those Bulbasaurs," but rather, "Look at those Bulbasaur!"

4:54 What I believe they are refering to is this: Gen 8 -> Gen 4 remakes Gen 6 -> Gen 3 remakes Gen 4 -> Gen 2 remakes Gen 2 itself is revisiting Kanto, so that could count if you don't accept Gen 3 into the rule. And LGPE is more of a spinoff, so I wouldn't count it as a remake on Gen 7.

I’ll explain the first Pokémon one. Arceus- god Bulbasaur- first Pokémon in the national dex Rhydon (KEEP THE REPLIES TO YOURSELF)- first Pokémon created by satoshi tajiri when Pokémon was called capsule monsters Rowlet- first Pokémon in the hisui dex, the first Pokédex.

Mikey, I must say that last part of the video was amazing. A lot of the time creators seem to forget that the fans are what make them. So I think that it is amazing that you acknowledge that. Keep doing what you are doing because as said by that reddit poster you make an impact to your views I have certainly felt that as well. 4:54 What they meant was that odd generation games giving us offshoots or something, instead of remakes. Usually with little if any connectivity to other games in the generation. Gen 3 - Colosseum and XD Gen 5 - Dream Radar if you discount the sequels Gen 7 - Lets Go Pikachu and Eevee And Gen 9 is giving us a Legends game

Damn, just rewatched my first video, the Ten Commandments of Pokémon and after seven years of growing up those jokes are crazy. I relate to the last person on the video, going to college. Same background Muslim kid growing up with Pokémon KZfaq content. Although I've been lucky with friends who also have a love of Pokémon and my other shared interests. Thank you for your art and best of luck in college. Not to like steal their thunder, but I too am a person who watched your “what’s inside a poke all video” and am graduating high school in less than a month. Though I’ve definitely not been as engaged with your content as I used to be, I still watch every video. Very few (at current no) people around me have been interested in Pokémon, so being able to watch you, who has very similar types of interests in the world of Pokémon, has been incredible. Like you said, while KZfaq certainly isn’t a thankless job, I can see how you might fall out of connection with your audience. I wanted to say, you have inspired me and so many others with what you do, and I hope you continue to do it for as long as it makes you happy. Have a good day

When talking about the remakes, Michael says that in gen 8 we got remakes of gen 4, and showed sword and shield/bdsp respectively. Then he says in gen six we got gen three remakes, which is true, but he showed sun and moon, instead of x/y.

There was total solar eclipse in our area during my senior year of highschool. The school came up with the idea of giving eclipse glasses to all the students so that we could see the event that wouldn't happen again in 20+ years. It ended up being overcast for the entire time it was in our area. I will never not feel robbed by this.
