I make this but instead use Pillsbury croissants but use the raw dough, not the "triangles". Use 2 together, add swiss, ham, honey mustard and top with another 2, closing the 4 sides. Brush the top with melted butter and bake. Yummy!

what things can i not live without and always have on hand? Siracha, General tsao sauce, dill pickles, Dukes, plain greek yogurt, butter, soy sauce. I do keep a large amount of condiments on hand. For my husband, it is a can of yellowfin tuna and English Muffins. We got our first Wildgrain box today and already enjoyed the Croissants!!

Mandy, Mandy, Mandy - I love this episode! I can't wait to try the unique Chicken Salad - and yes, I LOVE cottage cheese! The technique used in the Egg Salad is so cool & yes, I guessed bacon. I keep the thin fast cooking kind in my frig all Summer. I think the thing I'm always overstocked on is Mustards - typically have 6 on hand at all times. If u haven't asked, Chick-fil-A sells small bottles of the divine Honey Mustard for $3.99/ea. If u haven't tried the Mucky Duck brand mustard, u haven't lived fully yet - it's pricey when u can find it & I think from UK. I love the Spectator name & ur sweet kitty Gracie too. Thanks so much for the balanced, practical, inexpensive lunches! U are such a great Chef! ❤

The original recipe for a Mucky Duck mustard may have come from England, but the Mucky Duck mustard started out being sold at my local Farmer's Market in Pontiac, Michigan. They sold it out of an ancient refrigerator. This was probably in the late 1970's. I fell in love with it immediately and always had some in my kitchen. It has become extremely hard to find after the original makers sold the company to a larger outfit. Once in a while I'll still see it in a 'Made in MI' store. I got many people hooked on it and am so sad I can't buy it locally anymore.

We're having the same weather here. It's like July instead of May up here in Wisconsin. Add the horrible thunderstorms. Yesterday, the power went off several times for about 2 hours with all 3 storms that came through. More tomorrow.

I was going to say, Forgot relish....Jalepeno relish will work👍 I would mok the relish AND the Bacon both into the salad and then it wont be so hard to keep in the bread and get it into your mouth.....lol (for color on top, you could use paprika and/or chives 🥰

I add sweet pickle relish into my egg salad and onion salt. The onion salt just adds a nice layer of flavor. I would definitely try the jalapeños relish to replace the pickle relish.

Mandy,out of all the sandwiches,I think the last one sounds the best,but I think I'd do Havarti cheese,I'm not much for swiss cheese. Steven was too funny with that last sandwich,I'd thought his eyes were going going to pop out of his head when he saw the sandwich,the smile, wow ! lol ! Here's a tip about eggs, if your recipe calls for eggs to be at room temperature and you don't have any room temperature eggs, go to your sink and turn your hot water on you. Get a bowl put your eggs in it. And let it sit at hot water for 5 minutes. And then you have room temperature eggs.

I always put crispy bacon on my egg salad. Learned it in the 1980’s after visiting a deli in Daytona Beach, that put bacon on my egg salad and I’ve eaten it that way ever since

I got the same chicken shredder. I used it once and didn't like it. It did not shred my chicken like yous. Now I see what I did wrong. I didn't cut my chicken up into pieces like you did. I put a whole chicken breast in it. And it did not shred all of it like that. So now I know to cut the chicken pieces up 1st and add a few at a time to shred. Thanks I got to try this now. And the chicken no pasta salad looks delicious

Tip: To hard cook (boil) eggs just place them in your air fryer at 300 for 10 minutes.

Overstock - No Sodium Chicken Broth. Not only do I use it for a number of recipes, but I put a little in the dog food every night to help soften the kibble for her.

I always overstock tortillas and enchilada sauce, bc my husband LOVES mexican food and I can use up any leftover meat that I cooked earlier in the week and all the half bags of cheese sitting in the drawer in the fridge!

I was thinking earlier about a dessert type of croissants with cream cheese and chives would be good. Mandy!!!!!! I love cottage cheese!!!! Many people don't know cottage cheese can help you sleep because it contains tryptophan, calcium, and protein. Tryptophan is an amino acid that helps produce melatonin and serotonin, which are chemicals that promote sleep. Calcium helps your body produce melatonin, a hormone that helps you sleep. Cottage cheese is also high in protein and low in carbohydrates, which can help you feel full. I eat a spoonful on the nights I feel restless and it works wonderful to get me to sleep!!!!!!

We over buy Cheez Whiz and Jif Creamy peanut butter. We over bought before COVID because we didn't want to run out. After COVID we over buy because of supply chain issues and would buy extra "just in case" the stores ran out when we really needed it.
