Mandy, here is a little tip from an old timer...next time you make package gravy, use the potato water for the liquid. For some reason it makes it taste like home made gravy. Thanks for sharing. Have a Blessed day.

In the recliner, it’s impossible to hold the phone/kindle to read with my bifocal glasses comfortably. I can and do read in the passenger seat of the vehicles with my glasses on and the lawn chairs on the patio. Different chairs are taken camping and can’t read with glasses on in them either. Without my glasses, I wouldn’t be able to see his face across the table, so glasses on. He doesn’t understand how but I’m so used to not seeing well, if I get up at night, I don’t use lights or my glasses! If I had one I’d need the other. I never forget my slippers tho! I HATE STUBBED TOES!

My all time favorite summertime sandwich is a caprese sandwich. Especially if you grow your own maters. It can be made several ways, but basically it contains fresh mozzarella, tomatoes and basil.

If you a few sheets of paper towel between the lid and the slow cooker pot it will absorb excess moisture and prevent condensation from dripping onto food.

@@julesjackson9185 I saw an episode on America's Test Kitchen where they elevated the meat from the veg by putting a tin take-out container in the crockpot & the veges under the tin container. The massive juices created a suction that kept the veg somewhat dryer & the meat got browned from the myard browning process. I thot that idea was genius too. Crockpots can be hard to manage juices sometimes otherwise. 🙋‍♀️❤️

• "You're not clean unless you're zestfully clean" • I have to wear my glasses when I eat otherwise I'd have a hard time getting the food to my mouth. I'm blinder than a bat. Anyway...those meals look amazing, Mandy! After the meatballs, I thought, "well, this is on the menu next week." Then came the lemon butter chicken, and I thought, "well, this one is also." And then comes along the tacos, "🥰" Thanks for making next week's menu easy! The only thing I need from the store are frozen meatballs because I ain't makin' my own! Thanks again, sweetheart 😊

I’m 72 - my family used Zest soap for decades when I was a child. We only had ice tea (mildly sweet and lemon wedges) in the summer - it was such a treat to look forward to in Spring. My brother and I would pick the long tops of green onions and use them for straws in our ice tea. Wonderful memories.❤

@loriyoung653 I say especially young women because they majority of them don't have any cooking skills. Women my age should know how to cook. If you're nearly 30 something, and you can't cook, you didn't take the time to learn.

When I make Salisbury steaks, I like to add some thyme to it. I sprinkle fresh thyme on the steaks at the end or add ground thyme to the gravy. BTW, while I was watching you, I was on hold on my phone waiting FORever to make an appointment, so I had your video muted and CCed it. I just want to say that you and your husband are so cute together. You both feed off of each other in a great way. It was so sweet to see! ❤️
