Congratulations to Amanda on all you have going on. Rock it women!! You are gorgeous! The trip looked like a blast and love how you personalized things for all your friends, so sweet. Love love love you both. Thank you for all you and your seester do to help others with their curly hair journeys. I cried, after watching a few of your videos, realizing how mageable curly hair can be with the right information, guidance and products. My hair was dry, limp, and thinning out from always pulling back into a bun. I felt ugly everyday and depressed thinking my hair was beyond repair. Growing up nobody knew how to properly care of curly hair so was just a big frizz head ALL THE TIME. I have been watching your videos for a couple years, love it all, you both are so relaxed, funny, and relateable. And you really helped me not to be ashamed of my hair, but to love and embrace it. I have 3 boys, so my hair got twice the "not today, maybe tomorrow" care routine. I love my kids beyond measure and love my time with them, so my hair became an after thought, like forgotten and ignored. After trying your tips, that were free cause that was my budget, my hair was doing little better but still not enough, it needed products. I tried diy hair products, which only helps for so long. After some more months of watching your videos, finding the right products works for my hair and their prices, was able to save every little extra I could, I FINALLY "FINALLY" was able to purchase some products one at a time. Hey, Rome wasn't built in a day and either is saving this mop. So although you don't know me, I have carried you both with me during my Curly Hair Journey (love this saying). Can't thank you enough for making your channel, being dedicated to your profession, sharing not only your success with tips and products but sharing the ones that don't work or you no longer use. Most importantly you both are great 23:57 role models being boss ass queens, keeping it light and real. Living your best lives. Work it, rock it, flaunt it, love it!!! Love you ladies! P.S. We are going to the beach soon and for sure picking up one of those cool sun visors. 🌞

Bravo to your hairs for behaving as well as they did in such muggy conditions! I just turned 60, and have only just started loving my soft, fine, high-porosity curls, thanks to your insight, wisdom, and humour (both of you beautiful chickiebirds). I recently found a Oidad gel and leave-in, with free detangling brush, at Burke's. I splurged, and I'm so glad I did. My curls have never been more well-behaved, even deep in the heart of Texas (where the sun shines bright, both day and night, clap-clap-clap-clap). 🤭 Have a fun, safe trip, and veriest merriest congrats on your pending nuptials, Amanda. 🤍🔔

After radiation treatment, my hair got super curly, and for someone who had naturally straight hair I did not know what to do with it, and how to style it, even though I myself have been a hairdresser all my life! and even though I knew how to do other peoples hair for some reason, I could not figure out how to do mine but thanks to you I now I’m able to have the best of both worlds and I am truly grateful. I think i already subscribed to your news letter a couple of weeks ago, I'll have to check.. first i wanted to say congratulations to Amanda!! It really looks like you ladies had a literal blast in Mexico!! Everyone of you pulled out all the stops in looking totally fabulous !! thx so much for sharing this super special time with all of us here in MbyM community!! Ive been watching quite a long while, a few years i think its been at this point! and I only jst recently had the courage to start buying the things I'll need to finally begin my own curly hair journey, actually beginning with the Amanda microfiber towel set!! Ive got a new detangling brush and a Denman plus a couple of products so should be ready to go after a few more purchases!! Im totally excited to finally get to start on my curly hair journey, and it wouldnt have been possible unless i had found you Mell and your seester Amanda !!! Thx for everything you two girls do youve both given me so much confidence knowing it will take some trial and error but eventually ill get this right and be able to show my little girl in another 5 or 6 yrs which puts her around 12.. shes got beautiful ringlets though the lucky little jeezer! Im 42 with a 6 yr old and its time to quit doing so much heat damage to my hair ! And maybe even color for the first time ever!! Im a brunette and i can't stand the gray coming through!!! Anything i should know brfore i color?? Lol i think i want a professional to color my hair but i just dont trust anyone. Last stylist i went to tried to use thinning shears so needless to say i wont be going back. Is this something i can do at home with a few tips or should i seek a stylist even though dont have anyone to trust? I live in northern maine about 20mins away from the Canadian border andvits really very rural up here so not many stylists to choose from.. and definately no curly hair stylists at all unfortunately!! Mell you need to do a seminar over here for these clueless stylists we got up here !! Your spots would sell out in a HEARTBEAT ! Much love to both of you ladies and i cannot wait to see how beautiful a bride Amanda will most definitely be!!!
