mavinakayi gojju | tasty green mango recipe | raw mango recipe |vegan mango side dish |
8 green chilies (adjust according to taste)
methi seeds
uddina bele/urad dal
2 pinches of turmeric powder
1 tsp salt (or salt to taste)
2 tbsp jaggery
coriander leaves
1/2 to 3/4 cup grated coconut
Remember that the quantities of salt, jaggery, and chilies depend not only on the sourness of the mango but also on your taste preference.

Something new for me . Given a choice I would skip kottambari soppu . It overpowers all other flavours . What can be added if mango is not sour at all ?

Yes. Even we make it without kothambari soppu and even green chillies. If mango is not sour enough add Tamarind.
