Smoothie Bowls are all the rage these days and I couldn't help but think that people just want an excuse to eat ice cream for breakfast or at any ol' time of day. Who can blame them!
The Vitamix is THE go-to BLENDER if you want to make these and make them well. Here is my personal recipe. I hope you enjoy it.
Recipe:
- 1/2 cup of evaporated coconut milk (or any other milk)
- 1 cup frozen mango
- 1 frozen banana cut into chunks
- 1 tsp of vanilla (optional)
- 1T of maple syrup (optional)
REMEMBER the 3:1 ratio! 3 parts frozen, 1 part non-frozen!

@@BriansKitchen your welcome. I have 2 containers (8 oz and 20 oz I have trouble making much in them. Do you use these?

Personally, I use the 64oz one a majority of the time because I am usually making enough for 4 people. I have a 48oz one for my old Vitamix but I rarely use it.

I don't think I'll have ice cream for breakfast but for dessert, I can do this! Bwahahaha! I love mangoes but the one I have here beside me is the raw, green type. Our ripe ones though here in the Philippines are very sweet and perfect for ice cream. Thank you for sharing this recipe. Supporting my fellow vloggers.

Haha! Awesome! It does the job for now. I think in the future I will get a full frame camera but for now this works great!

My Mango smoothies always taste good. But my mixed berry smoothies have had questionable results.

Are they sour tasting? If so, just add some agave nectar or honey. That usually takes sour flavor away. Plus, depending on what you are blending, you may need more liquid to make it smooth. Especially, if you are using blackberries or raspberries or other berries with little tiny seeds.
