I decided to have a go at this daunting task of recording every single ending variation in Manifold Garden.
Initially, I recorded 129 separate videos, which for partial endings is a permutation of 7 god cubes, which is 2^7 (128), one of which contains the main secret ending. The regular ending can be triggered with any number of god cubes, so there's no change there. The variations change only when you go through the Garnier (the bridge section requires a dark cube to go through).
However, there aren't 127 unique Partial Endings, because the first six god cubes seem to have priority over the seventh Rainbow God Cube.
This means that combining, let's say, Rainbow and Blue gives you visually the same ending as only inserting the Blue God Cube. So there's no real reason to combine the rainbow god cube with others. That said, there is a partial ending for Rainbow God Cube only. I can't confirm if it's a bug, because if it only checks the 6 god cubes, then it shows a partial ending for no god cubes inserted instead of playing the main secret ending.
Without using any glitches, you can practically get 49 out of 66 endings. As there's no way to get orange without getting purple first. The same applies to Rainbow only. With a glitch like wallclip, you can get all 66 endings.
64 was a nice number to compare all Partial Endings and decided to put all of them in an 8x8 grid. Oh, what fun it was to position each and every video into a grid and lag my PC before finally rendering it!
For those who are curious how long it took.
Rendering took 15 hours, and exporting it took 16 hours and 22 minutes at 1080p.
