Wow, the first time I’ve actually clearly understood the stumbling technique. So simple. I thought stumbling was about smashing your brush onto the canvas! Not so! Thank you so much for clarifying all of these brush techniques. This was such a simple straightforward video I wished I watched a hundred videos ago!!!

Mr. Edwards, what kind of watercolor are you using? I notice that you have a watercolor kit, and this paint seems so rich in color and texture, none of mine is like that, not even the Chinese. Thank you for sharing your knowledge.

The magic word for the day is Watercolor Blocks! Who uses them, and why don't others? Arches makes them!!! Is there a Voo-Doo curse by some Purist Watercolorists, that makes them stretch their paper and tape it? HELP! You see, as a beginner, and retired BOEING Illustrator, I have a 20 pound pile of Arches and Strathmore 140 Lb. paper I purchased last holiday season, and a Book Binder willing to crop off the deckle, and cut it to my dimensions. He even sold me some wonderful Professional Latex book binding cement for making my BLOCKS! It looks a lot neater, and less cumbersome too, without all that mumbo-jumbo of throwing it in the bath tub and getting it right on the board! Am I jumping into a hornets nest by learning to paint on WC blocks for my painting experience?

digiphot2 I think you'll be fine. It's just that blocks cost more than large sheets of paper.
