For IIT kanpur n just very verybfew PSU 5.5cgpa is required. For all other IIT s and PSU 6cgpa is minimum required and even 6.5in many cases

Bro dont worry about cgpe if ur cgpa is over 5.5 u will get mtech in IIT kanpur bt then Rank will be required to get into IIT kanpur and no other IIT will take u will less than 6cgpa only IIT kanpur allows

Start with subjects which are common in both , like data structures, Algo , DBMS and soon you will get the clarity on ur own while learning these common subjects

@@blackhole1617 you can , I think there is no restrictions in attempting. But certain IITs and most of the Nits require you to have btech in CS (top 4 IITs and IISC have no such issues)

After my graduation, if I go for a job, in 2 years, I will have a lot more experience than someone doing MTech. And we will be getting the same salary after 2 years. So, is doing MTech Cse even worth it??????

I'm 2 years in future😂😂......have 2 years of experience and earning 14lpa. My in-hand salary is around 1,05,000 working as a data engineer. Planning to take gate for this paper bcz I'm already into data field

Its simple. Are u getting 10lpa+ package already if yes then mtech is not recommended as in 2 years ur salary will easily reach 15lpa to 20lpa. But if ur salary is 5lpa in service based company then in 2 years ur salary will be around 7lpa to 10lpa. So mtech in tier 1 IIT/IISC will get u directly to 20lpa to 30lpa package.

Who knows what my future holds for me I might aspire to create a business or start my entrepreneurial journey that time this Ivy League degree could come in picture to get some solid investments from influential peoples.
