Manly P. Hall delivers another interesting and enlightening public lecture, "The Human Mind and Concept to Time", spoken and recorded on August 5th, 1956 in Los Angeles.
* The audio quality is not great for the first hour, and much time was spent taking a marginal master and squeezing something listenable out of a 65 year old tape. This is the first time this lecture has been released publicly, and in all likelihood, it hasn't been listened to since it was recorded.*
We are all effected by the march of time in our lives, and we use watches and clocks for just about everything, but what is it? What is time and what does that mean to us? Is there another way of looking at time as a concept?

12:40 1/3 of our life we sleep… brings me to think of Revelation12;4 “And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth”. 38:47 the ever present eternal now. The focal point called now. 44:40 the time psychosis 55:36 the living are ruled by the dead. 58:05 Wisdom of the elders. How to live a little longer.

Time is indefinable because it's usually defined in the dictionary as the interval between two events. But when you look up the definition of interval it is some measure of time, so it's circular. And this is analogous to space since space can be divided in intervals between two points. The space and time intervals that humans choose to divide things are human centric, but we could zoom in or zoom out infinitely and it would be the same point or whole, then I guess this is why every point in the universe contains the whole universe. And likewise time also does not exist outside of a mind and all events or event timelines can be squished into a point or a universe.

The answer may actually lay in the understanding of Time. Direction and Flow are the wrong terms. They are aspects to Matter and Power, and thus are measurement to those only. Time is apsect to Order. You can't measure the Direction of Time. Thus we must ask not what Direction but what Order of Time. Time is similar to Matter in that it has 3 inferior states that come from 1 superior. Like how Universal Matter will eventually all become a solid state that is Crystalline in system. For Crystallization is the limit of a ordered system, while Space will be at the limit of disorder, or "distance". Time is the same. Past, Present, Future are the Inferior and Infinity is the Superior. Think, the Universe was a high order state at the Big Bang. Thus before the Big Bang the Universe had to be in a complete, almost perfect ordered state, like a crystallized system. The change of system in a group of Pionts is a change in state. Thus Time does not apply to Direction, only Space. For Time doesn't move. It is a constant state of the Universe known as the Present. Or Disorder. Or total possible information which is called Universal Intelligence. When the limits of said Present are reached, then the state of the system will switch.

"Human Consciousness as Will and Idea": kzfaq.info/get/bejne/ec1zdZqq0r3JmIE.html If you're talking about 'next week's lecture' from the end of the "Ghosts and Premonitions" lecture [ kzfaq.info/get/bejne/n7JkkrRi2bC-gqs.html ], yes, it was titled "Color Symbolism in Psychoanalysis". The audio to this lecture no longer exists, but it was transcribed and we can try to make that available if you'd like.

Time is cyclical not linear Plato in his laws refers to Hesiod’s myth of the age of Cronus, when all that life requires was provided unasked and in abundance, the reason being that the men of that time were ruled not by other men but by the spirits, this corresponding to the eternal element in human nature. The man of the age of Cronus were wanderers, living under the direct guidance and protection of the earth spirit, fallowing the migratory paths of their ancestors, vitally concerned with the cycles of animal and plant life, the progres of the season, the movement of the heavenly bodies. Perambulating each year the wide range of their native territory, they traced the steps of the gods who first created it, thus living out a cosmogony in which every spot, every feature of the landscape had its mystical significance reflected in the activities that took place there, time was cyclical , not linear; creation was a continuous process and the spirits that promoted it were ubiquitous and eternal.
