The divide between intellect and feeling, or the head and the heart, causes a conflict within each of us. By understanding the needs and limitations of both our thoughts and emotions, we can come to a more harmonious relationship between the two. This takes effort and discipline, and Manly Hall gives us practical advice to follow.
Originally recorded before a live audience, the lecture was titled: "Solving the Mental-Emotional Conflict in your Personal Life" and was given on March 11, 1956.
(this lecture was once publicly available and is believed to be currently out of print.)

I listen to these every time a “new” one “drops” but am feeling completely enraptured by this lecture in particular. This was from 1956! How is this possible?! I assume he had no notes as usual, just sat down and this came out. There was truly an immeasurable amount of wisdom within him, and his ability to translate his knowledge into these works on the spot is such a continuous gift to humanity. I know I’m not alone in feeling this way. This was one of the greatest teachers, if not the greatest, to ever live. Thank you endlessly for your ongoing efforts to restore and share these invaluable recordings!

Very well said. I think about Terrence McKenna listing or reading the works of this genius and tripping hard deep in the woods to waking myself up in a deep trip . Syncing up . This resonates with me as well. Much Love

This world from manly always assures me that I'm on A correct path with could lead to a right path. This man has been a parent to me telling me a bedtime story , I'd say 3 years straight now , 5 off and on . And I can't speak a bit more proper but his wisdom plays out in my thoughts helping free my soul. I spread all Ps lectures on my page hopefully someone took head and learned what I learned from him

16:10 emotions represent a highly conditioned reflex of personality. They are production of what we are but not what we should be or will be.

Seth, in the late 1960s said: “You create your reality.” Period. Everyone who has come out of this planet has free choice. No blame. Sowing and reaping every choice, with any mistakes=just what happens with very great or small choice, allowing for the common individual to have or be what he chooses as the earth spins, the sun lights the earth, breaths continue and life/death happens over and over and over in this eternity which is also the eternal law. peace+&-🎶💥🌸

He speaks extempore, and there is no extra word, very economical in use of words. So i pause every 15 minutes, and assimilate, it is brain food. And it will take me a life time from now ( 58 now) to complete hearing him and get brain digested.

Yes, this is possible! Also, many other languages are available. 1. turn on Close Captioning (CC) at the bottom of the video. 2. click on the settings button (looks like a gear) 3. click 'Subtitles/CC" 4. click "Auto Translate" and select the desired language. Please respond if this works!
