Liminal Gallery is a horror game where you're stuck in a gallery and the only way to get out is to step into photographs.

As others have said, it's definitely similar to Viewfinder but that's hardly a bad thing. It's still an incredibly creative mechanic being used for some fun puzzles and trippy visuals, and I'd say KenForest did a great job here.
@kyoudoku
@kyoudoku Жыл бұрын
Yeah, Viewfinder is a really good game but gets viewed negatively because of the crappy dialogue which is unfortunate since a game like that with such a unique mechanic deserves to be recognized for it's gameplay rather than something that isn't even the main focus of the game
@silverdededestruction2197

Arguably more better than viewfinder imo because this does require more forethought than viewfinder And I know viewfinder is a good game, it just lacks any sort of difficulty since a passing glance is all you need to beat a pzzule. Here, you can actually fail because of the death pits and messing up the placements of the photos can break the photoframe you were trying to take

There's a really good puzzle game called Superliminal that uses a very similar mechanic to this one. Except you can grab just about any object, instead of pictures specifically, and where you drop the object varies its size based on perspective. That probably sounds completely different from the way I'm describing it, but in terms of gameplay, it's a lot like this picture-placing mechanic.

Oh this was so cool to see in action! Props to the developer for making such a neat concept come to life. I think for me the effects were even more intense because my eyes are damaged from glaucoma so my depth perception is all messed up, and all these weird transitions made me feel like I was physically falling in some places.
