mita is really interesting actually. i love how she seems to care about the protag and his wellbeing (for the most part...) and doesn't just bring a knife out immediately lol. in any other game like this the moment the protag asks when he can go home they all go crazy but she was just like, okay i guess you can go back. that immediately made me feel like the devs weren't just trying for a cheap yandere game! excited to see how the full version turns out

So, throwing out some theories here, but I think the version of Mita that you have been hanging out with is the 1.5 version. The 1.9 version is either dead or locked away somewhere, and 1.5 is pretending to be her. The cartridges are either the previous versions of Mita, or other Players who she has trapped in there because they didn't want to be stuck in the game.

Real talk, I don't feel like she is the main villain. I feel like there is a bigger threat behind the scenes and she's desperate. She might even get a redemption arc since she seems to genuinely care about the playable character (for the most part). Then again it might all be an act.

God mitas expressions are insanely small but they express so much and she's designed so well I hope they make a dlc or spinoff thats just a dating sim add some extra dlc for new areas and they'll make bank

Ngl the fact the mirror worked blew my mind. Reflections are usually excluded from games, especially indie games, as true mirrors are a lot more challenging to make than other decorative household items.

Not sure what it says about me, but i feel like if she showed her demonic smile from the last frame from the start, and was honest about whatever creepy stuff is going on here... She would've better chances of keeping player wrapped around her finger.

As others have pointed out, undoubtedly the most intriguing part of this project is how wildly impressive the character model(s) and animations are. Just ridiculously impressive stuff. The UI (chiefly the subtitles and how they are implemented) is also very creative and impressive in its own right.

Other than becoming trapped in a video game and having to take pills to stop glitching, this wasn't horror, depending on your love of anime girls. This is 15% finished? Holy macaroni it's too good! The usage of the subtitle is very creative. The expression is just simple but great. I like the flow or pacing and the world really complements the the worldview meta-wise. Really looking forward to this. 9/10 wouldn't mind being trapped there.

i'm really impressed with how polished this game is. besides the models and animations, which look great, it's also doing some really clever things with the interface and interactions that i genuinely haven't seen before. this isn't the kind of game you can make by copying youtube game dev tutorials. this is the work of someone who really knows their stuff.

I really like Mita's character design, it's cute and interesting. ESpecially love her adorable neck scarf! It can be hard to make 'anime waifu' characters still feel distinctive and I feel like they did a good job with it.

I am baffled by the quality and attention to detail in this game. You can tell that this is a work of passion and it gives me so much hope for the future of game development.

This game… is just so pretty. I also like Waifu-tan‘s model, but what really sells it to me is her pretty apartment LOL. Each room just looks … so nice??? There’s so much detail and it looks like it could be a real thing! Like, there was no need to make her rooms THAT appealing to the eye, and the devs still went there. Real dedication, loved it! Though I‘m a bit sad this virtual girl‘s apartment will look prettier than anything I will ever own lol

That's a really high quality game. So many small details, beautiful, believable dweeb game, beautiful , believable room, the machine is beautiful, the special effects are beautiful. Also, everything has this uncanny vibe, when everything seems normal, but you know, that hell can break loose at any moment

I REALLY liked that bit at the end. The face she makes as she snaps her fingers makes me smile. I can't describe how it makes me feel but I really liked it. I also really liked the style at the beginning, and the game overall just looks very nice. The story has me intrigued.

the production quality is really through the roof with this game; all the cutscene animations are not only lively and full of energy, but even delicate and elegant in a way. although i honestly can't tell wheter they are rigged by a particularly talented animator of the current and new style or motion captured with tracking.

I love how REALISTIC they made Mita as a loving, caring character. To the point where Manly knows he can count on her to take care of him. Like anytime something weird happened, Manly would actually look to her for guidance and comfort, which she would always give. 33:39 as just a small example. Realistically loving and caring anime waifu’s are the future. Edit: Like at 36:49 instead of just going to the room, he’s actually waiting for her and walking with her 😭

The animations are actually really nice!!! Like there's a surprising amount of times where there's a custom animation for picking up an object

This is one of those games where I dare not spoil too much of it for myself. Incredibly well executed and I will buy it. So many developers glance over small details and just want to get a game finished. It's so obvious that these devs genuinely care about making a superb, immersive game. Yes, the trope has been done many times before but this feels fresh enough and I hope they will do things to set it apart from other similar inspirations.

with designs like these i feel like making a her into an A.I with more scripts and movement would be fire. whenever she causes forced movements it seems mostly human and not clunky.

Wow this is a really good looking game. Really like the other games of this developer. They can really create good atmosphere. MItas home looked so cozy. The menus really stylish and theres a lot of polish to it even in this demo. Mita herself is very cute, and honestly the model and movement reminds me of vtuber models. The expressions are well done and i like the little shadow effect on her face sometimes, not talking about the ones during conversation where she gets more and more grim. The animation is very smooth. Im really looking forward to this game! i do hope the dev puts a physical interaction with mita, along the lines of a headpat or whatever, to really emphasize the sweet aspect to the initial encounter, or like just something you could do whenever. Could really be used for a gut punching scare when you least expect it.

I just wanted to say this once, I have been a silent viewer for ages and I just come back around once in a while to check out some of your videos and I have to say that you're the most wholesome horror game youtuber I have even seen and I think that is really funny but commendable. I can watch your videos, feel reassured by your presence and voice, but immersed and scared at the same time and I don't know how you do it. You're amazing and I felt like I just had to share this 😂.

I'm impressed with how polished this is! Sure, the gameplay may be very rudimentary as of what we see hear, but the visuals and the look and feel of the game really make you feel immersed in this digital world. I can't wait to see where the story goes from here, I really hope it's not just the predictable "Mito is evil" and that they do something more with the story

Made a grave mistake of not reading the full title but only the “anime waifu sucks you” and for a brief moment panicked before I read it entirely…but ngl it wouldn’t feel too out there for something manly would play given what he’s said before lol

I dunno. The girl seems pretty cool to me. Part of me hopes she'll subvert expectations and actually be your buddy all the way through. Wouldn't it be cool if you convinced her to leave her world and join you in the real world? Possible bad end/good end split, but I digress. I like the way this one is done! Very cute.

Know nothing about the game but the moment 39:23 happened i remembered a yandere game i played before where you had to monitor the characters facial expressions to tell what action they'd take and her facial expression right there was usually the stabby stabby one lol. Cute game though and was not expecting the fangs lol, but I can probably guess where the story will head just from this but I'll just forget about this game til the full version XD.

I'm really hoping Mita isn't the main villain, or at least not the Mita who brings you into the game world. I suspect that after the glitch scene she's been replaced by whatever was in the previous version you had to get out of before arriving there, and the 'real' Mita is in the closet.
