Great start…Evans had a real deep trauma to share which was helpful. We knew his mom and her journey. Domestic violence would be a helpful topic to explore and discuss their therapies.

I LOVE this. As a Licensed Professional Counselor I am grateful for this platform. I see male clients that hurt and initially, even after setting the appointment and showing up, present in a way that is stereotypical, that they are "ok." As we begin to talk and they accept the safety of the sessions and me as the counselor, they slowly begin to share. Our society has unfortunately set barriers that are designed to keep men stuck in their unhealed, silent, closed off, isolated states which leads to a deepened depression or anxiety along with a number of destructive actions taken personally and in their most intimate relationships and beyond. Thank you for this!!!

Thanks so much Mr. Mann for this Love your Mind series! I was drowning last year with walking away from a toxic romantic relationship and toxic work environment. Then having to confront my childhood trauma. I thank God I made it to the other side of healing. Thanks for teaching us that faith and therapy can work together.

Thank you David Mann for sharing what's needed for such a time as this. The mind trap of Satan is being rebuked when the truth is being told. It takes courage to open up. The Living God has handled it. Stay obedient and encourage and let Him do the work in you for His glory, for your good and for the good of others. God bless you always. Stay focus and stable.

Great conversation! Many people can learn from these open talks. We all sometimes focus at least 90% on work , to ensure our household is maintained;. This can cause anxiety, stress, and depression, because 90% can change to 100%. Praise GOD for your forum. Thanks to you and all your guests for sharing.🙏

Sometimes when mentally overwhelmed, we become isolated within to the point that a child could be standing directly beside their parent calling, "moma" "moma" "can you hear me calling you" " moma!!" "Uh";... "daddy" "daddy" "uh" "can you hear me calling you?" "daddy". Thank the Lord our children not asking for the car keys. Lord ....help us to get the help that we need when we need it 🙏🙏🙏 so we can pay attention like we're suppose to. God works through helpful resources as well as the right people.

I love these episodes! As a mental health nurse practitioner, I can tell you that this is creating a safe space for black men and women too, to be encouraged to go to therapy. Our people are suffering in silence. The more we talk about it, the stigma is being erased. We have to save our young black kids. There are so many generational curses being passed down.

Hello Mr Mann, I'm a woman, and just listened to your second episode. I lift my hands in praise and honor to you for doing a men's podcast to uplift our black men!!! My heart is mushy over this, as men in general, and black men specifically put on the brakes when it comes to therapy. The therapist spoke on how he opens up conversations differently with men and I thought, "What genius in such a simple application"! YAY to you all! I thank God for your podcast and pray incredible success to you in opening up the minds of our men so then they can expand their minds with freedom ❤

God never created us to be tough all the time as men but He showed us through His son how to be men and still be human by expressing our emotions(Jesus wept),weaknesses(Jesus said "let this cup pass from me")and being vulnerable(Jesus was tempted in the wilderness)so I have no problem in truely expressing how I feel whether good or bad.

This is Awesome! Men and women really need it. I've shared it with a lot of men. But I truly wish it was one for ladies as well. My brother got killed in my truck and I lost my mother and my step dad less than 8 months apart. December 2021, July 2022 and August 2022. I'm having a hard time at times trying to move on. We need to have a platform for both. May God continue to bless and strengthen us. God Bless 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

Thank you, thank you, and thank you again. This is simply so great. Yes, much needed and you're doing it. I was so pleasantly surprised when I heard you be vulnerable and sharing your story that I saved it to use in my journey to help the faith community, especially pastors and leaders, to start having courageous conversations about our mental health in our black and brown communities. I'll be sharing this and watching. I'm a LMHC and a pastor, with lived experiences and I hope to help us talk, access resources, ang be healed. Blessings Brother David Mann.

We can't pretend like nothing's wrong when it really is . We have to know that it is ok to be REAL. We may have to acknowledge that we are emotionally or mentally drained/shattered/ mixed up but after that go forward in dealing with the true issues so that healing may take place within that particular emotion or issue. We may also need additional good healthy counseling.

The reason the darkness retreat was so powerful is because the DARKNESS IS YAHWEH'S SECRET CHAMBER! This was super powerful and enjoyable. You gotta feel it to heal it: THIS IS THE REASON PEOPLE DON'T HEAL. They get to the really painful part, and turn back instead of feeling and moving THROUGH it. They go back the other way and have to live STUCK like Dr. Tartt said. Totally enjoyed this.

Brother Mann. As a Christian, a child of God. We are not led by our emotions or our feelings. We live according to the Spirit of God. It is through God that we have life and our being. Showing emotions and being led by your emotions are two different things. We as the Body of Christ, we are called by God to walk and live by faith. Faith in God, which is the ability to Believe God and trust God, only! I believe that some people struggle to live according to the will and Word of God. But that is why when Jesus ascended to heaven, the Comforter was sent: The Holy Spirit, we are born anew of the Spirit not of the Flesh. The Spirit of God enables us to live according to the Word of God. Deliverance is a supernatural miracle from God, through Faith in Jesus Christ, to remove the yoke of bondage to sin. I can say, from experience that spending time in the presence of God, gives you the fullness of life and joy. You cannot serve God by intellectual reasoning. Faith works through the Spirit. I declare and decree, that the Body of Christ will worship God in heaven through Faith in Jesus Christ and be led not by the flesh but by the Spirit of God. For the Word of God says, we are the Righteousness of God in Jesus Christ through our Faith in Jesus. Your Faith needs to grow, check the root that is sown in your heart. That will tell you where you are spiritually. Let Go! Trust God, completely, allow Jesus to be Lord of your life! Stop getting in the way, God is more than able and there is nothing too impossible for God. The only way to salvation is through Jesus. Choose to believe God. God is enough. Remember; Ephesians 6:12 KJV: For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness, in high places. So put on the armor of God. Please spend more time reading, meditating on the Word of God. Pray, Believe and make confessions that glorify God and edify the Body of Christ. I believe the shift is happening, those that pretend and those that walk by faith in Jesus Christ. Choose and commit to the path you choose. May God be the glory, in Jesus name, Amen.

God bless you beautiful Kings. I'm so glad that you have made a platform for this topic. I hope it's something that you do often. I'm really glad that it was clarification as far as mental health and the church world. As a Believer I was told that mental health was demonic spirits and people need to be delivered from them. However, knowing who I was in the Kingdom I knew that I did not have any demonic spirits that lived inside of me. So if it was like this for me as a woman, I can imagine what it's like for a man who mostly was taught to bottle their emotions; " men are not supposed to cry, suck it up, put on your grown man boxers, dont be a whimp......". I taught a sermon on that. Like you said Mr Man if there's something wrong with your heart you go to the cardiologist, with the foot you go to a podiatrist, with your bones you go to orthopedic. So we should be able to go to the psychologist for mental health. Also pray for the leaders. Since they don't have the platform to talk or safe space, they end up internalizing their emotions which causes their behavior to be sometimes out of order.

I am a bit unclear as to your calling and purpose. But I will say this, I hope you know that in order to truly make an impact in one's life, you need the Holy Spirit, which leads you to all truth. If you are not Saved and Sanctified and filled with the Holy ghost. You will be ineffective. Only God can deliver us. You need to understand the revelation of spiritual deliverance and healing. If you are serious and draw close to God by faith. God is faithful. Body of Christ has to understand that God is calling us to operate on a supernatural level above the demonic system of the fallen man in this world. I pray that God will lead you according to the Spirit. Meditation, according to the Word of God not the worldly standard. Set your mind on Jesus!
