Hydrocarbons : Saturated and Unsaturated Carbon Compounds are used in our everyday life! Hydrocarbons are the simplest organic compounds. We look at the hydrocarbons: alkanes, alkenes and alkynes and compare their structures. Watch this video to learn more about hydrocarbons and their uses.

Organic- Glucose and Carbon dioxide Inorganic- Calcium bicarbonate 3. In Alkanes, the carbon atoms are held by single covalent bond throughout. In Alkenes, the two carbon atoms are held by a double bond and the remaining are single bond. In Alkynes, the two carbon atoms are held by a triple bond and the remaining are single bond.

Alkenes and alkane are unsaturated. Glucose= organic, carbon dioxide= inorganic calcium bicarbonate = 🤔(organic) since HCO3(carbonate) is having both H and C atoms. Am not sure if my answer is correct, please help explain sir. 3. The difference between alkanes, alkanes and alkanes is in their numbers of hydrogen atoms and the bonds connecting their carbon atoms. _Propane is used in cooking gas. _ethene and ethyne are use for fruit ripening. _polymerized ethene is used for making polythene bags.

Answers : 1. Alkenes and alkynes are the unsaturated compounds that is very reactive & connected by either double or triple bond 2. Glucose & carbon dioxide are organic compounds whereas calcium bicarbonate is an inorganic compound. 3. Sir, your explanation is so good. Q1: alkenes,alkynes. Q2:Organic compound : glucose, inorganic compounds: carbon dioxide, calcium bicarbonate . Q3: alkanes contain single covalent bond ,this is the strong bond compared to alkenes and alkynes.it is not easily break the bond.it breaks through higher energy UV in presence of hv. Alkenes and Alkynes Glucose and Carbon di oxide are organic compounds. Calcium bicarbonate is an inorganic compound. In alkanes there is only single covalent bond between C atoms In alkenes there will be at least one double covalent bond between C atoms and in Alkynes there will be minimum one tripple covalent bond between C atoms.

Ethylene is a natural chemical responsible for ripening of fruits . Also,Calcium carbide is most commonly used chemical for artificial ripening of fruits. Is ethylene also used for artificial ripening of fruits ? Alkene is used for the polythene bag making. Ethene and propene are used in manufacturing of polythene bags.

The hydrocarbon present in cooking gas is LPG (Liquefied Petroleum Gas) The hydrocarbon used for the artificial ripening of fruits is Ethene The hydrocarbon used for making polythene bags is ... (please answer this one for me) my guess though is an alkene because of the 'ene' group behind both of them and please check if all my answers are correct

1. Alkenes and alkynes are the two types of unsaturated hydrocarbons. 2. Glucose is organic since it contains carbon, hydrogen and oxygen only. Carbon di oxide is also organic since it contains carbon and oxygen only. Calcium bicarbonate is inorganic since it contains calcium. 3.Alkanes contain all single bonds. (C-C ) Alkenes contain at least 1 double bod. ( C=C ) Alkynes contain at least 1 triple bond.

1)Alkenes,alkynes 2)glucose organic, carbon dioxide and calcium bicarbonate inorganic 3)They have diffrent bonds :one,two and three.

(1) alkenes, alkynes, alcohol (2) inorganic- carbon dioxide, calcium bicarbonate Organic- glucose (3) alkanes have carbon carbon single bond whereas alkenes contain carbon carbon double bond and alkynes contain carbon carbon triple bond. With that they also vary no. Of Hydrogen atom for the same no of carbon atom. Thank you sir for your simplified and practical explanation🙏🙏

Q1.alkenes, alkynes. Q2.glucose- organic, CO2-organic, caHco3- inorganic. Q3. Alkanes- single covalent bond, alkenes-atleast one double covalent bond, alkynes- atleast one triple covalent bond.

Excellent!! All your answers are correct except carbon dioxide is considered inorganic. As I mentioned in the video the classification of organic vs inorganic is a rough classification. All compounds of carbon except for oxides, carbides, carbonates and hydrogen carbonates (bicarbonates) are considered to be organic. Since CO2 is an oxide of carbon it is inorganic.
