You know, like the color visuals shown in each BB related media, Jimmy got the grey ending of the main leads. Walter died in a dark laboratory that panned out to show the black negative space of his black ending. Jesse got to live as a free man away from any trouble while driving to the bright white space of Alaska in his white ending. Jimmy got caught by the law he served in but ultimately felt morally better, despite having full awareness and acknowledgement of what he was doing, and got sentenced to prison where he’s the most respected man in there, and giving Kim the chance to show his redemption to doing the right thing and keeping her name away from any trouble with a lie, and thus is presented as the show’s gray ending. Not good, but not also bad either. Not epic, but not boring as well. The law has been served and so has the entire course of this series since 2008. The law, drugs, family, money, revenge, success, so many elements into making a fantastic franchise that has been grown to perfection

This ending is bullshit. Jesse never should have got off scot-free he literally killed a man. Saul was the least bad out of all of them imo. Yeah I get the live by the sword you die by the sword but hated it. 85 years? Ridiculous

@@destined4purgatory643 tbh we don't know for sure whether or not jesse got off scot free. all we know is that he escaped temporarily. Maybe he relapses like jimmy and gets caught again

Howard’s death was so sad. If you truly look at where Howard was coming from, truthfully. He was trying for Jimmy, but jimmy was so spiteful because his brother stopping him from working at HHM. Howard did not deserve his death AT ALL. The episode Waterworks made me FEEL for Howard, and his wife. So messed up. But damn it was good.

@G R But see Jimmy was WAY more of a con man. That’s what gets me, how did people not see through Jimmy.. it was so obvious but I guess he was really good at shortcuts in the law. If you sat down with Howard, things would not make sense. Seeing the show for a second time, I just really felt for Howard, how his cards were dealt because of how damn good of card dealer or should I say Slippin Jimmy was. (speaking metaphorically lol)

They say that in your life you always attract the kinds of people that are there to teach you a lesson about yourself. As this show's writers are brilliant they wrote all these karmic stories in there for a reason. Howard may have been morally decent, but he did plenty of bad stuff to get to where he was today, so in a way he attracted a "Jimmy" in his life because he still had unresolved issues. There were plenty of times when he acted like an ass toward Jimmy and Kim so you could say that in a karmic way he brought it on himself. Perhaps he did not deserve to die, his career death was enough of a karmic punishment, but the writers really wanted to punctuate mid season somehow.

Unfortunately for Howard, he represented a system that both Jimmy and Kim despised. They couldn’t bring it down so they did the next best thing, in their twisted minds. They brought him down.

Been following this show since Day 1 and it's easily one of the best I've ever seen, with its only equal being Breaking Bad. It's been a hell of ride and a very poignant ending for the story of Jimmy McGill. Cheers, Man of Recaps 🔥🔥🔥

You know why BCS didn't get the Emmys? Because the Emmys are too small! They don't care about it! They’re nothing to BCS! The Emmys are a bacterium! Better Call Saul travels in worlds they can't even imagine! They can't conceive of what BCS is capable of! This show is so far beyond the Emmys! The creators are like gods in human clothing! Lighting bolts shoot from their fingertips!

a fantastic series. especially given the pretense they had to work under. this show is right there in terms of writing, acting, and character development with BB. In a weird way, i think that in the end jimmy and kim are both satisfied with where they are at

Howard’s death was really surprising, and I can’t decide whether or not I think he deserved it. Ultimately, I think Howard was a victim of circumstance, and was ultimately an alright guy for the most part. Still, given how he acted in the show, watching his downfall and eventual death ended up being satisfying, even though I wasn’t expecting him to get killed off

@@MrEmmanuel678 Totally agree. Howard was an asshole sometimes early on in the show, but for the most part he wasn't that bad of a guy. Especially after Chucks death. He really tried to change himself as a person for the better and even acknowledged his own flaws that Jimmy pointed out to him after Chucks death. Once Jimmy and Kim kept messing with him, it just made me realize who Jimmy was deep down (and even Kim, telling by the past with her mother). Vince Gilligan really knows how to make you get confused on some of the bad guys and slowly reveals who they really are towards the end.
