Mantis Gamepad Pro has a new update out and you can now activate it without a PC or second phone! Play any game you want with your controller and with the new features such as MOBA Cast, Gesture Support and Sequence Buttons, you can now play literally any game you can think of!
In this video I'll go through the basic setup in COD Mobile, see how League of Legends Wild Rift will work with the MOBA Cast feature and also go through using it in PES 2021.

How do I know I won't get banned with this app?
With Mantis (and any other keymappers which use Universal Touch Mapping), it's nearly impossible for an App/Game to detect whether Touch Mapping is being executed.
Why?
- Because although Overlays can be detected, the Overlay running apps' identity cannot be. Hence it'd be harsh for a game to ban their user for just this as there are plenty of legit Overlay use cases.
- Because the Touch Mapping is just Emulated Touch Injection and no different to actual touches. Again making it undetectable.
- USB Debugging detecting is easy but can be enabled on the device for multiple use cases. Again not at all conclusive enough.
And Companies do not ban users unless they are 99% sure about the unwanted activities. Banning even a single account wrongly leads to massive PR issues.

1. Thank YOU.! Very well thought out and executed explanation. 2. I was wondering if there any any videos of how to setup mantis/buddy to play asphalt 8 or Battle of Warships:Online.? 3. These games default is to use tablet tilt and yaw to control the pointer/action. Seems like mantis isn't going to be able to handle that - or did I miss something. Thank you and again - excellent job on this video. So refreshing not to see a talking head and waving hands.. :) And your accent makes it a pleasure to listen to your video.

just tested this along with my PS5 and Xbox controllers for Genshin Impact, and i must say, the input lag is quite noticeable (disable battery optimizations and all that stuff). considering i connected thru bluetooth probably is the reason why. this tutorial made me think that prolly i might be better off using a direct USB-C gamepad (e.g., Gamesir X2). That other video you also posted to compare both the Gamesirs version made me stick with my final decision here (hate the white color of the USB-C version tho). Thanks again my dude, this was really helpful and prolly saved me a lot of money in choosing the right gamepad/controller

Glad to hear it! Yeah sadly Bluetooth lag can vary quite a lot between different phones. Usually on Samsung it's OK but I've noticed with other manufacturers there is a huge amount of lag. It's just the luck of the draw I guess. Anyway glad to have helped 👍

As an avid CODM player who has got to Master Level in Ranked just using my phone, who now has had to start using a controller due to the onset of arthritis this app is a god send. Using a controller that CODM can detect means waiting AGES for the system to a) find a match with other master ranked users and b) people who are using a controller (this is because it will ONLY pair you with OTHER controller users). CODM does not recognise this as a controller so you’re free to play as normal!

@@AndroidAddicts in one instance I was waiting nearly 20 minutes for a match. The only negative is that you really need to tweak the sensitivities using the app or else when you press the left analogue stick it goes crazy!

Hello everyone, I followed these instructions but I was stuck on ADB paired successfully but I have found a fix that worked for me. If you're stuck on this I would turn off WiFi and uninstall mantis. Turn WiFi back on and reinstall mantis. Now follow the instructions again in this video and try pairing again and also restart your phone. This fixed my issue. I use a note 20 ultra

Great tutorial and very clear, if only buying the pro pass would actually give you the pro version and its features that would be great. Paid for it and have my receipt and the app never updated to pro pass. So happy about this product i paid for and never got........

The gamesir x2 bluetooth works. You have to turn on usb debugging and sync it via power button +A. If you use Power button +G it scrambles the button locations and wont take a calibration.

For some reason the floating button that should pop up to do the button mapping disappears after 1 sec when opening the game and then it doesn't come back. And I get a message talking about "phase 1 is now active". So now I can't map my buttons and don't know what to do Edit: so the phase 1 is the default name of button mapping

do you have any game launcher/booster? it happened to me on my S23 and it seems the game booster was also running on top of other apps (even mantis) therefore the widget never showed up again, so just go to settings and search for "appear on top" then disable it for any game booster/launcher your phone has

I do everything exactly the same as in the video. And I click pair in the mantis app. And it just stays on the screen "pairing successful" 'this could take up to 1 minute'. And it just keeps going and never fully pairs.when I close out of it, on the top of the home page, it says "auto connecting mantis buddy" but it never does. how do I fix this.(I have the s22+ and x2 gamesir)

I hope mantis gamepad pro some day will have a activation option that don't require pc and enabling developer option usb debugging and wireless debugging because if you enable this option pubg new state won't open up it will ask you to disable developer option usb debugging and wireless debugging

I ended up just using a PC to get it to work. Often the wireless debugging gets stuck in a loop after it says "pairing successful". I wait a full minute but it still fails. With the PC app I just plug my phone in, download the Mantis Buddy zip, extract it to its own folder, then run each BAT file within the folder, and it works.

The wifi version is bugged as hell. Very annoying. For first try it worked but you have to connect it every time, and even when it is paired, it is not connecting automatically. Why does it even needs that method to work?

You have to disable the debugging option, then enable it again, I had the same problem, but now it seems to work.

They must have changed It because I have no issue with pubg. Just wish i could find some decent pics of how people manage to set up their controls with the keymapping. I've spent over an hour just trying to work out where I want to place everything and trying to make it somewhat organised so I can get use to the layout. But ehhh I haven't played a match with it yet and I'm worried I've just wasted my time when surely there are some images floating around for how they manage it easier

@@dvulture87 The original PUBG MOBILE doesn't have the issue, it's the New State version, and still does. PUBG New State came out like last year from this reply and is supposed to be more mobile focused . As for setting the keymap there are many videos now showing how to.

Thanks for the video, once entering the port and pairing code I get stuck on a loading screen. The screen says "ADB Pairing Successful" with a subtext "Note: If it gets stuck at this point, kill Mantis from Notification Tray. Launch again and wait for Buddy to Connect." I've tried following those instructions several times now, but buddy never connects after killing and reopening mantis. Any ideas?

I seemed to have followed all instructions so far, but after typing the 2 codes to pair, it says "ADB Pairing Successful Note: Launching Buddy Service, this process could take up to 1 minute." I followed the steps and had a couple of questions.. 1- Everything works fine when connecting however, I can't get it to remember.. I have to redo all the steps of turning wireless debug on, pair codes to pair.. Any idea why that is and how to fix it? It's time consuming to have to do this all the time! 2- Do you notice any lag at all compared to a direct connected controller when playing FPS like COD? Thanks again for your help.. Great video :)

Even there's a new update, it still doesn't responds to my controller(Gamesir T4 Pro). Works perfectly in calibration test but fails completely in actual gameplay. Whatever buttons I click, it doesn't register to the screen. I'm playing genshin btw. I might just wait for the official function on Mihoyo

So you've enabled "USB Debugging Settings", turned on "Disable Permission Monitoring"? If so, 17:32 show how you might have another app (which can draw/float on top of the screen) enabled. Check your Accessibility options for any installed services there

for the steps, I've followed everything from the beginning until the pairing is successful. when doing key mapping, I can't add buttons to jump and so on. it's written there "if stuck, turn on security settings (xiaomi) or disable permission monitoring (Oppo, Vivo, Realme) in developer options, check FAQs for more info. if the above-mentioned tip does not work, restart your device and reconnect MantisBuddy." I have tried everything, but it still doesn't work device : Xiaomi redmi 9T (Android 11)

@@AndroidAddicts the computer most likely won't read my usb c port on my note 9. I can't take the phone apart to clean it to see if its in need of a new one. I used another android on the same smos panda usb stick and it worked... its my phone. thank you so much for taking the time out your day to help me out...most people don't care to reply to me.

its time I get a new phone which is not something I necessarily needed to spend money on but with backmarket it will be a cinch. I can look forward to a new phone perhaps... galaxy note 20 ultra is what il get. I would love to have the note 10 ➕ Star wars edition sith... its so cool but it is going out of date and they still want 900 for it which is ridiculous just for a red s pen... lol

Great video. Though the ads map looked the same on both versions of mantis. Hold down trigger to ads on the free was the same as the pro? If its on free then its clearly on the pro version. It wasnt always?

For oppo phone there seems to instruct to turn off permission monitoring. This could end up to be security hole for this and other apps to get all permission it want without prompting user.

Make sure you've allowed the floating window permission. If you can't find it just uninstall and reinstall Mantis and when it pops up be sure to allow all the permissions it asks for

Hey there, great video! This question has been kinda answered but not 100% clearly; activation/setup requires wifi, but is this required for all subsequent usage? Like, if out and about, I would need to carry two phones or a secondary portable hotspot to use the software with my Kishi?

Hi there, thanks for watching, Yes I'm afraid so. One way around that is if you root your phone - you can activate automatically. That however is voiding your phone's warranty...

If the Mantis Floaring Widget is not appearing, follow these tips: 1. Disable Battery Optimization for Mantis (Go to Mantis Settings Page -> Tap on Disable Battery Optimisation -> Search for Mantis under All Apps -> Select Don't Optimize). 2. Disable Priority Mode in Game Booster App if you have a Samsung Device.

@@mantisprogaming The problem seems to be that I have to enable USB Degugging in order for Mantis to activate and stay activated. But with USB Debugging on my PS4 dualshock will not work via bluetooth. When I turn off the USB Debugging the controller works again but the Mantis disables itself again. This is a seperate issue other than the floating widget not appearing.

@@supersteve76 USB Debugging requirement is optional incase of the On-Device activation. Not having it enabled wont be an issue if you're connected to the WIFI.

@@mantisprogaming Im sorry but its not working out that way for me. It activates when I enable USB debugging, The activate bar turn from red to green and says ACTIVE on the device. But my controller will not work. When I deactivte USB debugging the green active bar for Mantis turns red again and says that it is not activated on the device anymore. It wont auto connect wifi and when I press to activate it will not. USB debugging is the major problem here. It is obvioulsy required to keep Mantis active on the device but interfears with the Dualshock 4 bluetooth connection. Mantis WILL NOT stay activated on my device if I turn USB debugging off.

It might be your phone's memory management. Try ensuring there's no power saving or battery optimisation turned on (specifically for Mantis if possible)
