I would just shake it out in a bucket of water and find a ton of pipe fish, seahorse, crabs, shrimp, starfish, anglers, tiny puffers and other strange creatures. Yeah one thing I never knew is that both the mantis shrimp and the pistol shrimp can both create a cavitation bubble. I thought it was just the pistol but the mantis can do it too because it has one of the fastest punches in the animal kingdom. Now I don't know if the cavitation bowl is as big as the pistol shrimp or whatever but they're definitely a monster. Mantis shrimps aren't called the thumb splitter shrimp for nothing. I know where you can collect all the pistol shrimp you want for free. I used to find them under rocks in the bay in Sarasota Florida all around the edge. The rocks on the mangrove islands have lots under each rock, up to 3", maybe 3.5".
